Did you see the news regarding last night's club fire in Rhode Island? The club had 'Great White' playing. The were using pyrotechnics and the whole club caught on fire, rapidly. It is very sad, so far the death toll is up to 54, with 150 injured.

I recently acquired Kerfuffle (a disc containing all sorts of funny little Gord quotes and interesting intros gathered from different shows over the years) and i must say that it is hilarious and very much worth hearing. firstly, i was wondering how many people out there have a copy of Kerfuffle? and secondly, if anyone wants a copy, i would be more than happy to do a B+P for it.

Has anyone ever had a slipped (herniated) disc in their back? I am recovering from one, and I was wondering how long it took you to get back to normal? I know everyone is different, but I am looking for ballpark figures. Smile Also, if you've had one in the past, have you had problems with it since? Thanks for your input. Smile

Does anyone know who burned all those Hip videos into MPEG's. I sure would like to shake their hand. I just got the MCA Road Apples Promo off Kazaa lite. Great live performances of Cordelia and Three Pistols. I got a kick out of Johnny Fay laying in a bathtub in a room full of candles listening to classical music. Smile

Well, someone had to start this, but where to start...
They did get nominated for Group of the Year - simply because they ran out of groups to nominate.

Question:
Would IVL be considered POP, Rock or Country?

We can assume it's not country.

If it's Pop, then your telling me that albums by Jarvis (or is it Queen Dufferin) Church, Emma (who?) Gryner and Amanda (I'm a sell out, and I try way to hard) Marshall are better works of art?...right.

If it's Rock, then your telling me that albums by any of the five nominated are better, such as OLP, Danko, Tea Party (yuck), Treble Charger and Wide Mouth Mason (no offence Wide, but I did'nt even know you had an album out this year)...right.

We won't even discuss singles. C'mon fellow Canadian Juno nominators, if we can't get the slightest bit of recognition for the IVL masterpeice that it is, than how the hell are we supposed to make it in the outside world.

What a joke...however, the beauty of it all is that for another year we still get to keep The Hip all to ourselves, fellow Hipsters. Yee Haw.

Mats aka Bry.
