I want in, but I have no idea where to start. What are the 15-20 best Hip songs that you would give a stupid, slow moving American? Maybe this will help. My favorite bands are: The Dead, CSNY, DMB, Hem, Tori Amos, Widespread, Pearl Jam and Phish.

I've heard by word of mouth that there is someone out there who has recorded a few of the western Hip concerts from the IVL tour. I would love to get some information on this as I am from Vernon and would love a copy either for owning or just viewing and returning. If you have any info you can offer I'd be most incredibly thankful

22 over the speed limit. The address is wrong on my ticket. Think thats a good defence. It is my old house from a year and a half ago. Anyone have any history of getting of tickets?

Does anyone know where and who to get these shows from? I contacted the guy running LiveHip.com who was supposedly the person distributing them (for a donation) and still haven't got a reply. I also emailed Chris from hipcovers.com, the guy who shot the videos and all I got was an automated reply to connect to an FTP site and download samples of it. The FTP site doesn't work!

Anyways, if anyone knows who I can contact about aquiring these dvd's please let myself and everyone know by replying to this forum. OR if someone already has the dvd's let us know what you think of them. Thanks a bunch.

Heard second single on the radio the last week or two " Like A Stone" pretty cool tune , worth checking out.

It has just really hit me in the last 60 minutes.

I have always contemplated music by the hip, But one of my favorite hip songs (Gift shop) has just run up and smacked me in the face with its full meaning.

Now I like it even more, I could be wrong but I am satisfied with what I have come up with...
It is a song about the great and beautiful things in our world, And how afterward everything else seems so cheap and meaningless...Like a gift shop.
At least that is the gist of it.
I posted this because I wanted to hear what it was like for everybody else when they find out the true meanings behind their favorite hip songs, And what the meanings are...Just for the rest of us without the same train of thought.

Has anyone seen this type of wrestling? Or heard of it?
