Here's something to pick your brain . Name ONE person or place from a Hip song . Try not to look at any lyrics and let's see how many we can come up with. I'll start off.

Hey folks;

I'm bored so I figured I'd offer up a show on my FTP that isn't out and available on any of the popular Hip FTP sites that I know of. It's the Nov 5th show from Ancienne Belgique, Brussels, Belgium. It's in SHN format and I would rate the recording quality an A.

FTP Info:
142.177.205.205
hip/hip
port 21

5 login limit (no duplicate logins!)
Site will be up till late Sunday night. If the IP changes I'll post it.

DON'T HAMMER THE SITE and Enjoy Smile

Does anyone who lives in the Toronto area know exactly where the Hip's walk of fame spot is in Toronto? What street it's on? What store is across from it? etc...
It must be somewhere around Roy Thompson Hall....

thanx

Got my packages in the mail from Peter (livehip.com) containing the 8 live Hip shows on DVD. Great Job to those who taped the shows and to Peter for doing up the DVD's with a nice dvd style menu and intro!

Check my hiplist for the dvd shows I've got (see sig for url). I did a list update last night to both my audio and dvd list.

I've watched a couple of the shows from the European IVL tour. Small venues but good crowds. Gord wasn't very lively in the 2 shows I watched. I think he really likes and needs the big crowd to get him energized. In fact I haven't seen him that unanimated ever! I'm hoping the other shows he's back to his old self.

Anyways, the shows are great! I need a better TV home audio sound system to get the full sound from the DVD's. My 2 speaker TV just sounds like listening to it through a telephone.

I can not believe that the Oilers traded Carter... Radek Dvorak better step up.

Also Gilmour is back in TO, Don Cherry will be happy.
