I'm surprised that I didn't already find a poll like this one.

Beat posted a thread asking us what our favorite top 3 songs and albums are. I found it interesting how different peoples answers were.

With this poll I'd like to find out what the most universally liked album is. I guess it's just something that I have always wondered. It's a pretty difficult question.

I'm frustrated. I love the Hip, but i'm finding that I hardley like any other bands anymore. I have listened to tons of bands over the years and other favorites have been Pearl Jam, Stone Temple Pilots, Black Crowes, 7 Mary 3 and The Odds, but out of those bands, they have either broken up or they are just not as good to me anymore.

I love music and I'm a musician myself. BUT, it seems strange to me that I don't like any other band nearly as much as the Hip.

Does anyone have any suggestions of bands that are even remotley like the Hip? I would like to get into some new stuff. hock:

Just read where the super fury animals ( members of wilco and sonic youth) have a new album coming out called phantom power. wonder if they ever listened to the hips album of the same name?

I thought it would be a cool idea to share stories about when we became Hip fans. How did you become "hip"?

Here's Mine,

It was in 1991. My cousin gave me a mix tape. On it was Bachman-Turner Overdrive, Dire Straits, ZZ Top, and The Hip. Wierd combination, I know. I had heard of the Hip, but I had never heard them. I was totally blown away! The Hip stuff was about a million times beter than any other music I had ever heard. The songs on the tape were Blow, New Orleans and Trickle Down.

I immediatley bought their CD's and shortly after bought a guitar and learned all of their songs. I became Obsessed!

Even to this day, nothing comes close to the Hip!

The hip debuted on SNL, it was there first and last visit to the american spotlight. Just a little trivia guys

I lost all respect for the guy, he said the same speech that he said the day before? He has to get of the soap box that he thinks he is on.
