I can't wait for this album, and since it's been almost two months since it was announced on Feb 3rd, I'm getting super-eager to hear the tracklist! I can't wait to listen to the lyrics, then go back and listen to 2002-03 show bootlegs and try and hear them in the rants!

Anyway, my question is what unreleased songs would you love to see Gord bring out for the new album, along the lines of Every Irrelevence and Lofty Pines, which were floating around for years before he put them down on Coke Machine Glow? I would LOVE to hear him revisit:

- Blonde Solid
- Get Back Again
- Work That Hard
- Montreal

There are many songs that they never released, but these are in the best shape, so to speak. I think they'd fit his individual stylings perfectly, and I'd love to hear them on the new record.

Release a tracklist already!

Hey CC, nice avatar! I've borrowed it and will fly it until bush is stopped (or until I find another good one like it!)

Anyone else out there who realizes bush is wrong feel free to change your avatar to this one!

Hey folks. I have an original Roxy Revisited CD but the version of Killerwhaletank has a dead spot in the recording when it was produced. I wanted to make a copy of the cd but with a good clean version of the song.

Does anyone have the cd or a copy of the song in SHN or WAV format (NOT mp3!) that I can download? Would be much appreciated. I could trade one of the european shows I have for it or something! (check my list in my sig)

PM me or reply here, thanks a bunch!!

High

I downloaded a show from a binary newsgroup (alt.binaries.mp3.bootlegs or something) with title "theroxy" but have no idea what date and venue it belongs to. setlist is as follows:

lionized
Three Pistols
Courage
Twist my arm
Bring it all back
little bones
they've all gone
cordelia
trickle down
she didnt know
highway girl
new orleans is sinking
on the verge
blow at high dough

seems like a sounboard recording. sound is very good. I think the theatre name is the roxy but its not possible to search on theatre name in the database. thanx for any help in advance

As these are the two hip shows I have attended and did not find any boots yet. I just registred this great site and am a rookie in the Hip community. But if anyone in the Netherlands or Europe have these shows on tape,mp3,SHN,FLAC,APE or whatever format please let me know. I have a few hip shows for trade but in addition I have loads of Springsteen material and also some Neil Young, Counting Crows, Ryan Adams etc.

also a link to an FTP which has these shows is also more than welcome!!

Just ran across this link at amth:

http://www.mtv.com:443@212.190.116.226/ ... p?nqRFO3Qg

Pretty safe to say it's fake. Thankfully.

That window that pops up when you click it is kinda a dead give away.

Kind of a funny read anyway though.

Hello all,

Some of you may be familar with the Jam posters that are out there that are a big collage of various Rock and Roll legands. Pretty cool poster. Anyway, I was looking around the web for a guide to it since I couldn't pick out all of the faces and stumbled across a new Jam poster.

To my suprise and delight, Mr. Gordon Downie made the cut for the new one. Check it out here:

See how long it takes you to pick him outta the mix.

cheers,
