Is there any where to actually see these videos? I would almost guarantee that he gets no airplay on Muchmusic, and very little airplay on Muchmoremusic ( which I don't get ). Is there any reason he actually makes the videos if even his fans don't have access to them. I don't know, seems like a useless promotional tool to me.

For example:

Will they play early, so Gord can get to Montreal in time?
Will Gord postpone the Montreal show so they can headline?
If in fact they do headline - will they play a few more than 7-8 songs?

Has anyone else had any problems with "copy controlled" cd's?

I've got 2 of them now, Ben Harper DOTI and the new Radiohead. In certain cd players these cds skip and in others they don't seem to play at all. Plus I can't copy them to my minidisc player through my computer. These problems to me are all a major pain in the ass.

I first ran into these "copy controlled" discs in March when I got the new Ben Harper cd. Apparently they accidentally released some of these protected cds to the public and they were only meant for the pre-release promos or whatever. Anyway they released a statement and said that they would send out a new copy to anybody affected by the problem. So I called the number and the lady took all my info and said they'd send me out a new one. That was over a month ago and still no disc. I've heard of others getting the cd no problem though, so I don't know what's up with that. cratch:

Anyway, I can't see as how it's fair to punish a paying customer by degrading the products sound and usefulness in an effort to protect against illegal copying. To me this is just bullshit. I happen to enjoy making mixed cd's and transferring music to my minidisc player so that I can easily take music with me wherever I go. And now because of this bullshit "copy controlled" cd I can't do that?!? :x :x :x

To me, the cd that I paid $15 for is worth far less than the mp3 files that I can download off kazza and actually use.

Just my opinion though. Sorry for the rant.
