Hey Folks
Hope all is well.. I am offering the following dvds in a one time special:

Misty Moon 1990
Nachtwerk 1993
Montreal 12-07-00 (2 dvds)
Boston 06-30-00
Hamilton 1996
Toronto 06-09-97
London 06-08-00 (this is from mpeg from the internet but it came out alright, the main thing is that Gord sings a LOT of stuff that can be found on his Solo shows now).

anyway 8 dvds for $40 (down from the $45), BUT you have to choose these 8 DVDS, about $10 per 8 dvds goes to the SPCA (everythin over costs)

or get 5 dvds for $30

I will be ordering more blank dvds in the next week or so, and they should come soon so there is a small delay of about a week or two before I can start recording..

I'm thinking of picking up a guitar just for a hobby. I would probably pay for lessons to start me off but i would probably just want to fool around with hip songs. Could you reccomend a good priced guitar?

I dont want to play bass
and i live in an apartment so electric is probably out??
acoustic in then?
I know nothing, let me see the light.

I have finally got around to posting my review of last night. Yesturday was a cloudy day in Halifax, fog rolling in from the ocean. We got to watch the whole city and ocean from my friends amazing downtown apartment patio. Ryan lives 5 minute walk from the show, just on the other side of the hill.

We drank alittle before we hit the show. We missed the first few bands, The Trews and Three Days Grace. We found our spot on the hill and Crush was playing, I really don't care much for Crush. We had our own dedicated beer guy that kept bring us beer every 15 minutes. Then Finger 11 hit the stage, they had a alright show. Default was amazing! Default was the real reason I wanted to go. The crowd was weak for a "Concert on the Hill" in Halifax. Last year was sick, 40000 people and 10 washrooms! Well not that bad, but it felt that way. This year was alot better. Everyone I talk to about last years show and how The Hip rocked Halifax Smile

Nickelback put on a great show, I had low expectations going in. It was a classic rock show with fireworks and fire. They played a good new tune, the first line of the song is "I love to see your pants around your knees".

All and All, I would give the event a B+, Halifax was spoiled last year.

I've recieved these messages on winMX the last couple days , both made me chuckle .

"hey man, here in Canada, Gord Downie is the next best thing to God, so could you free me up a spot, eh?"

and

"Who the hell are you? The sound engineer for the Hip?"

I'm still laughing .

I was on livehip.com and it said they had cd's of old hip shows. It also said that you had to make a donation to a charity to get these cd's. I'm really new at this boot thing and I don't really know who to contact or anything. If anyone can help me, it would be a huge help. The shows I'm looking for are the one have listed below. Thanks  Go HIP!!

Hey guy's,

Just wondering if anyone is writing to Muchmore Music to ask Gord a question? Or what would you ask him? Me not sure, it would be hard to narrow it down to one ?.
