  trying to identify Downie/hip song

Hey I'm new,

I heard a song on the radio that I thought might have been a new hip release. I don't know the name of the song, and the radio station won't pick up the fuckin' phone. When I borrowed the newest hip c.d from a friend, I discovered the song I really like isn't on it. After searching the internet I discovered BOTN. Does anyone know if there has been songs released from that album on the radio. HELP. I know this is vague. :lol:

Saw Terminator 3 Sat night in the theatre. Whoa. The first chase scene is friggin' amazing. 10 minutes of complete action and destruction. Has to be seen in the movie theatre for the full effect with surround sound and high volume so you hear every crunch, bang and smash. I loved it. Great sound and special effects. When Arnie was hanging from the crane hook and he kicked over the ambulance I was saying "Holy shit, that was cool!"


Arnie was his usual funny self with quick oneliners for some great funny moments. I'm not sure if they left it open for a T4 but basically Judgement Day happens but I don't think they need to explain the rest of the story. They tied up the loose ends well. I'll be picking up the Terminator DVD box set when it comes out Smile

Downie and his band, The Country of Miracles, entertained with a mix of tunes from his latest CD, Battle of the Nudes, and his 16-song previous sans-Hip effort, the confusing, book-of-poems-accompanied Coke Machine Glow.

It was a dramatically different scene than the last time Downie strode out on the Bluesfest Main Stage, a year ago, when The Hip whipped 25,000 fans packed shoulder-to-shoulder into a frenzy.

Yesterday, it was a relaxed but still reassuringly bizarre Downie, clad in a wonky white cowboy hat, who sat perched on a stool to play guitar and belt out his strange sort of music.

Downie strained those unique vocal cords more than once during his 45-minute set. During the opener, 11th Fret -- which he called "not the most bummed-out tune, but it's pretty close" -- and on several other tunes, he was pleasingly backed by the light, sweet tones of singer Julie Doiran. And even if it didn't quite work, the pair impressed with a verging-on-rap effort dubbed Who By Rote.

I was just wondering everyones thoughts about laminating concert posters.Do you think it may devalue them? Or is the preservation that laminatation offers the way to go if you cant afford to professionally frame all of them. Confusedcratch:

played an awsome show, only 54 minutes... i shot a killer vid though and my buddy pulled the audio... played a few songs from coke machine glow and his new album... Smile i went behind also and shot him signing autographs... also shot his toes with silver nail polish hahaha he said hi to the camera aswell
