This may seem like a dumb question, but here goes. For those of us who appreciate lossless music, is there a way to "tag" .wav, .shn or any lossless format? Kind of like the .mp3 ID tags? If so, know any good software...possibly free?
What got me thinking about this is that Lance has his super cool radio goin' right? How cool would it be to be able to keep the filenames intact, but have a player read and display the "tag" for each file. Am I way off on this or what? It would also be great for archiving shows. If the filename got messed up or the .txt file was missing from a show, you could just look at the tag. What do you kids know/think.
Cheers!
Chad
has anyone else noticed that gord seems to change up the way certain songs are played...this only based on me watcing the I&I and seeing him in Orilla, but on I&I Yer Possessed was all electric while in Orilla it was acoustic with mandolin...he opened in Orilla with 11th Fret but being done by just him and Julie...i just find this really cool that he is trying different things, also interesting how much the songs from CMG have changed or evolved
I have an ultra cool story to share with you all :thumb: My husband and I were driving in the car when a contest came on the air (WGR 55 in Buffalo) My husband persuaded me to call on the cell, and I actually got through. I figured I would lose this contest, because it is mostly sports radio and what do I know..but hey, I was going to give it a try. (Since I called and they had my name, I couldn't hand the phone over to Bill) So I waited for the contest to begin. What a silly contest it was: No sports questions but rather they were opinion questions and creativity questions. One question was: use Eagle in a creative way.......so my answer was Buffalo Bills 21/ Eagles 14 Superbowl 2004. Points scored. There were 5 total questions. Then the capper was: Who would be an ideal opener for the Eagles? Of course, I said the Hip because they would get the crowd pumped. WINNER!! The guys gave me a couple of points for that answer and I ended up winning.!!! So now, we get to see The Eagles in Buffalo on July 22
I have never won a thing in my life and now I have with help from the HIP....yah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :thumb:

I don't know if the pictures will show, but I thought it was kind of interesting. Do you think this is where the song comes from?

Why did you pick it, and if applicable, what does it symbolize to you??
