Year end list!

What were yer fav shows of 2014!?

Didn't get to that much this year, but did get to see Arcade Fire on the final night of the Reflektor tour in Montreal, and that is definetly a show I will never forget!

Also, Blue Rodeo melted my face at Ottawa Folk Fest,

...and then there is my annual shit-show that always kicks my ass - Evolve in Antigonish, Nova Scotia. They had some great performances this year from Hey! Rosetta, BADBADNOTGOOD, and - even though I'm not big on DJs - Skratch Bastid opening for Grandmaster Flash made for an amazing two sets.

How about you guys?

Good day all,

First time poster. I'm a big fan of the hip and a big fan of wine (not a hardcore of either, but a moderate core and am happy to have found the forum) and I was wondering if anyone in here has picked up any of the newly released Fully Completely wine?
750 mL still available: <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.thehip.com/news/introducing-fully-completely-grand-reserve-red/">http://www.thehip.com/news/introducing- ... serve-red/</a><!-- m -->
1.5L magnum (hand numbered and autographed by the band, Ltd to 250 bottles): <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.thehip.com/news/limited-edition-1-5l-wine/">http://www.thehip.com/news/limited-edition-1-5l-wine/</a><!-- m -->

Hope there's a few lucky ones in here that were able to snag some of this. Enjoy, happy holiday, Merry Christmas and I suppose I had better leave with my favorite quote of all time, which happens to be by Gord.

We're forced to bed, but we're free to dream.

The first post is in the bag. :jump

Has anyone compiled a chronological recording history (meaning studio tracks and demos - NOT a LIVE show chronology)? Been searching on line without success...

Chris Hadfield was in Kingston tonight doing a reading/speaking engagement for his new book. A friend who attended said that he performed Space Oddity with Rob Baker.

Do you have any Twitter feeds that you really like?
Well, wouldn't it be nice if someone made a thread to share some?

There's a book that came out about the history of Music Express Magazine titled 'Music Express: The Rise, Fall & Resurrection of Canada's Music Magazine' that mentions The Tragically Hip and other legendary Canadian acts.

Randy Bachman has a new blues influenced album that's slated for a spring 2015 release.

I've been reading interviews where he's provided tidbits of surprises about it, which apparently will include some guest musicians.
