When I upload shows, they are SHN's created from WAV's that were ripped directly from the analog source. Shorten doesn't create a md5 file when I do it this way (I think the only way is when you are converting directly from a burned CD). If anyone knows why no md5 file is generated in this manner, please let me know.
I don't include a text file because the folder lists the date, venue, & city. Each file header includes the date, track number, & song name. I have no recording information included for any tapes in my cassette collection, so I can't provide any. And song times don't mean much to me. All of the items I've listed above are in a text file, but I already indicate them in another manner so I don't include a text file.
Jerremy, if you require these items with shows uploaded to your site, email me and I'll do my best to include them.
Hey is anyone going to radiohead on wednesday ? I just got a press pass which hopefully will give me an amazing view of the concert- Should be good times- kid koala is opening which should be interesting ...
Any one pull together some artwork yet for the Edgefest Audio recording?
thanks,
jeffro
As we all know Peter aka Livehip was involved in an accident a few weeks back .
Peter offers up Hip dvd's for practically nothing and donates the extra money to Camp Trillium . I don't think it's right that Peter should have to offer up some of his collection to cover medical expenses. To quote Peter "the bad thing with the accident is that I will be liquidating my cds as well. not something I want to do, but something I've got to do. I will post a list really soon "
If everyone chipped in what they could , even if it's a little it could make a difference . Giving up an Ice Cap or movie rental or anything trivial , could help out , a small sacrifice . I would think having a severely burnt leg and weeks/months of rehab is enough to worry about let alone trying to get together cd packages in order to cover costs .
Peter I hope I didn't embarass you but I felt it was something that should be done . I hope you are having a speedy recovery .
Mark
Hey all,
I regretfully have to sell my mini disc recorder.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...3050267833
It is sort of hip related because it was used to record hip shows. There's no mics though, I always borrowed those to record. Other then that, it's ready to record some hip, if anyone was thinking of getting into recording shows.
Cheers,
Craig

Notes: This was a concert that was held at SkyDome and the Air Canada Centre simultaneously.
Crowd VERY noisy at points -- so much so that I actually gave up recording at points.
Likewise, the sound guy FORGOT to turn on the HOUSE SOUND at the start of BNL's set.
Rowdy Crowd. Very Enjoyable!

Hey...I recently took myself off the mailing list for new posts. I unchecked the box about e-mail notification in my profile, and I have in fact stopped getting 90% of notifications, but every day there's at least one that slips through, and it's never for the same threads. I'm not sure how I manage to get one notification about new posts each day when I post in 5 or 10 threads...anyway, I was wondering if there's something I didn't do right...
