Hi Everyone -

Just a quick announcement that the 6/20/2003 Gord show at Higher Ground in Burlington, VT is now complete at the Meridian FTP. Previously, it was missing the great performance of "When You Dance" and the show closer, "Insomniacs of the World, Goodnight."

Evereyone please thank our good friend Grooveless Toque for providing these missing tracks, particularly "When You Dance," which was only played a small number of times and perhaps only available through this show due to technical difficulties. THANKS, Grooveless!!!

Ordinarily when I encounter corrupt SHNs, I just ignore it and burn without them...but this show is just so good! Its full name is "2000-12-01 UIC Pavilion, Chicago". I'm looking for tracks 12 on the first disc and 10 on the second disc. Even MP3 will do!! I would love to have the whole thing. Please let me know if you've got it on CD!! It's perfect sound quality and I would kill for the whole thing... (don't make me regret putting that in writing Confusedhock: )

I went to the Lord of The Rings Trilogy yesterday and it was pretty cool. Seeing the extended versions on the big screen rocked.

After seeing the first 2 movies about 5-8 times each I was still picking up things that I had missed but seeing all 3 movies really pieced together the story a lot better.

My ass was starting to get sore about 3/4's into Return of The King though.

hey all -

anyone know what's up with the Austin boot only being 4 files (the last of which is 0 kb)? Was there "technical difficulties" with this gig's recording, or perhaps technical difficulties with the upload process?

To whomever took the time to upload all of these shows to the FTP - I can't thank you enough. These shows are phenomenal, and I very much appreciate your willingness to share.

why is all i have to say about sensless violence around the holidays or anytime for that matter. A local dj was murder last friday in Rochester
near the Susan B. Anthony house . He was in the there in the area collecting rent and was robbed and shot in the torso told the emt where he worked they called the station he went to the hospital and ddied from his wound. He went by uncle Rog worked overnights and hosted a show called homegrown about local talent.v He worked there for 30 years just a shame .

Any fans of the Supersuckers here?

I caught their show in Calgary last night and they blew me away. They put on a great show full of raw rock'n'roll energy. Hard to describe their sound, it ranges from Punk to Country and everything in between.

Truly a Rock 'n' roll band or as they like to call themselves "The greatest f**kn' Rock 'N Roll band in the world!"

They've still got a couple shows left in Canada before heading back south so if you're in Banff or Nelson go check it out. :thumb:

Hi all -

I'm working on downloading the Gord solo shows from the Meridian ftp, and I've noticed something odd. On two shows, the final file of the show is listed as 0 kb. One of them is the Indiana show in July. What's up with this? anyone have the last song from that show?

Just thought I'd pass this along for the information of anyone who might be interested in pulling down one or more of the Watchmen's final shows...

Once again, $10 seems a little steep, but I suppose it will ultimately depend on what you get for your money...

(Funny that the final show in the 'Peg hasn't sold out yet... Confusedcratch: :? )
