Oh to have talent!
A friend of mine told me the other day that The U.S. actaully knew that those planes were gonna hit the towers
cratch: He said it stemmed from the bombing back in 93. According to him that bomb did a tremendous ammount of damage,so much so that probly in less than 20 years it would have toppled over, killing many many more people than the ammount lost that fateful day. He says that the ammount it would have cost to fix the damage was nullified when the planes hit. It hasd something to do with peoples insurance rates He also goes on to say that word was actually spread to certain people to not be at work that day, its a wonder that there was only that ammount of people there when in fact there should have been twice that number for that time in the morning. So I asked him ok having said that how do you explain the pentagon and the almost probly would have been white house? He said the terrorists went that much further with the plan, and also how the hell did they know the names and identities of all the terrorists involved so soon after? I don't mean to bring up bad memories for my friends in the states but he really got me thinking. I'm not saying this is fact all i'm saying is it just weird how things work out. Sometimes I feel our governments keep a vale over our heads and most of us are quite content to live like this but I can't. They breed secrecy in potent batches to make people believe the lie.
i got a hold of this magazine and it is a GREAT interview with Gord. Really long and in depth where he discusses Tragically Hip stuff, as well. Plus, the CD is cool too. Lots of good bands on there. i think i prefer the Christmastime In Toronto version on this CD.
From Gord's website:
December 5, 2003
Greetings GD fans,
Gord recently completed an interview with Comes With A Smile, a unique UK music magazine, where enthusiasm and great writing replaces the trend-driven flavour of the mainstream music press. Beautifully bound, with a creative layout, the magazine also includes a full-length compilation CD of previously unreleased tracks with every copy.
The current issue includes a feature interview with Gord and the cover CD includes an alternative version of "Christmastime In Toronto." Other artists featured in this issue and on the CD include, Willard Grant Conspiracy, M Ward and The Weakerthans.
For more information on how to order, or subscribe online (including PayPal), go to: www.comeswithasmile.com
Recent issues have featured interviews with artists such as Guided By Voices, Vic Chesnutt, Sloan, Grandaddy, Calexico, Pernice Bros., Sparklehorse and Hawksley Workman, to name a few. The magazine also features a range of lesser-known, but no less worthy, up and coming acts.
Have a great holiday season,

LOS ANGELES, California (CNN) -- Ozzy Osbourne was seriously injured Monday in an accident while riding an all-terrain vehicle on the grounds of his British estate, according to Cindy Guagenti, a publicist for the heavy metal legend.
Guagenti said Osbourne underwent emergency surgery after breaking his collarbone, six ribs and a vertebra in his neck.
She said the operation was necessary to "lift the collarbone, which is believed to be resting on a major artery interrupting blood flow to his arm."
Guagenti also said doctors were attempting to stop "some bleeding into his lungs," but she said the injuries were not considered life-threatening.
The accident took place on the 55-year-old rocker's Buckinghamshire property while he was taking a day off from promoting a new single he recorded with his daughter, Kelly.
Osbourne and his family star in a taped Christmas special airing on MTV Thursday.
The third season of their reality TV series "The Osbournes" debuts on the network in January.
In an article in Sunday's Los Angeles Times, the former lead singer of Black Sabbath said his unusual behavior on "The Osbournes" was the result of a 42-pill-a-day regimen prescribed by his Beverly Hills doctor, which included anti-psychotic drugs and tranquilizers.
Osbourne said he has since fired his physician.
An attorney for the doctor told the Times the allegations were false.
Osbourne's publicist said pills had nothing to do with his accident Monday.
Osbourne made headlines in his native Britain last month when he told a newspaper he had been sexually molested as a child and suffered emotional consequences for many years afterward.
Poor Ozzy, hope he recovers
