Just heard on Y108 in Hamilton, that the new Tragically Hip single "Vaccination Scar" will be at the Y108 offices and played to the public on April 13th. Differs from the April 8th we've heard from HTZ FM in St. Catharines. Don't know why one station would get it earlier than another. Anyways, it is being heavily promoted in Southern Ontario (center of the universe by the way)
I just saw this movie yesterday and loved it. My favorite movie since Fargo. The role was written for Bill Murray and I can't see anyone else pulling it off but him. The camerawork was superb. It's unfortunate that it didn't win Picture Of The Year last year but that LOTR machine is hard to beat!
Hey all,
I've got a show that's not listed on the db.etree site and would like to add it, but everytime I try to do so, the third step of the process (after putting all the setlist info in) never loads up. Can anyone help me out?

A pair of drunk jackasses went way over the edge yesterday. Toronto radio station 102.1 The Edge indefinitely suspended morning-show host Dean Blundell and his crew after they refused yesterday to stop a lewd and profanity-laced interview with wildman Steve-O of Jackass fame.
Everyone was sooo helpful when I was looking for the Real Lighthouse Keeper Rant! Now I must ask has anyone ever heard The Hip cover Green Eyed Lady, had it on a tape that is now long lost. I would appreciate anyones help on this important matter! THNXS
Picked this from the Henhouse:

There's a Hip song (or at least Gord Downie) that's been played quite a few times in the last month or two that I don't recognize. I think it's usually played in an intermission. Nothing from their first 8 albums, and I don't think it's from In Violet Light - what is it?

The song is called:
"Vaccination Scar" and is soon to be released to radio. This is the first single off of their new album, just finished (title as yet determined).
The album is slated to be released end of June.
Glad you liked it. I've been playing some of the other cuts here and there, to hear them in the big arena.
When I'm not spinning tunes for the Canuck faithful, I am the band's project manager, here at Feldman & Associates; we manage the band.

Just wondering if anyone owned a motorcycle here, anybody living on ontario.
I'm trying to complile a master list of non-audience Hip bootlegs (studio shows, soundboard copies, & FM/TV/WEB rips). I've made a list using various sources such as the Hip webring & some rarely-used pages at the KillerWhaleTank. I'd like to know if anyone can add to the list or correct some information on it.
Some information I found was contradictory to popular Hip-trading beliefs. For example, I thought it was accepted that the Modjeska '98 show was a soundboard copy, but according to the KWT, it was taped with what appeared to be some very high-end DAT equipment. This is why I would like to see what other traders have to say on source information for these bootlegs.
Here's the list so far:

I finally beat this damn thing  . A word of advice...use the tab key, it will help you with a few items and keep you sane. Good luck.
I am loving these graphic adventures. Anyone else know of any other cool ones?
