Just curious really...

How many of you hipsters bought the book?
I ran to the bookstore the day it was out!

Hey, here's a question for IHG. After searching, I saw that you were at the Whistler show, and saw all the new songs live. You've also gotten to listen to the final product (the review has made me even more excited for this record)

So here's the question -- do you remember what songs were played from IBE and what they were called on the setlist? There are the obivous ones, like Forget becoming Vaccination Scar and Gus, Makeshift, Beat, etc. But what about ones like Fighter, You, Dancer, and so on.

Curiousity is killing the cat on this wet afternoon. I'm sure other people here are wondering the same (which is why this is a general post insted of a PM). Any help would be sweet!

Cheers

Pat

Watch as this liquid begins to morph into worm-like protrusions that seem to wave and crawl across the surface. (.avi, 4.0 MB)

For any of you who are in Vancouver and want to check out a great free show.

Come down to the TD Tower Plaza @ the corner of Granville & West Georgia for a free show by one of Australia's best bands.. "POWDERFINGER" put on by Classic Rock 101's brother station CFOX.

The show starts at 5:30pm and should be quite an event.

I have seen them twice and they are a really great live band.

Hope to see u there!

I was wondering what ever came of the plans for the private hip show? I haven't seen any posts about it, lately.

Found this on the website of The Trews (http://www.thetrewsmusic.com/diary_colin.html)

Colin MacDonald Wrote:I like to think that our band has been doing this music thing because of our mutual love of the music. What else would have gotten us through empty bars in Oshawa, Ontario, and a thousand requests for “New Orleans is Sinking” and “Free Bird”? We’ve always done our best to avoid the trappings of ego, chart positioning and record sales, and measured our success in terms of song and music.

I was listening to 106.9 the bear in ottawa and they said the hip were playing at the blues fest this july. I was wondering if anyone knew when tickets are going on sale? I've checked the hip site and the only thing they have is the bay fest in sarina. Thanks. :thumb:
