Hey guys! Just wondered if anyone knew what time the hip was starting in ottawa? It says 12pm on the ticket info on the tickermaster website but I was wondering if that's just the start time for the other bands? 12pm just seems a little early to me, but it might be just me. You would think it would say it on my ticket but it doesn't. lol Thanks. :thumb:

The latest Ipsos-Reid poll shows the liberals ahead of the conservatives in popularity at 34% liberal to 28% conservative with a virtual tie in seat projections at 110 each!!

It looks like the voting public is finally beginning to understand how Harper is nothing but 'Bush' North.

Let's keep Canada on the right track, vote Liberal! :thumb:

My buddy sent me this link. Now I don't mind listening to Nickelback, in fact I actually like some of their stuff. But, after listening to this it makes me wonder...

The louder you turn it up, the better you'll see it. Pretty Funny. Let me know what you think. Confusedcratch:

The EARLIEST date to hear IBE! (For all you who are jittery)

Okay, spread the knowledge! In response to another thread, I posted the following info because someone had posted June 25 as an IBE preview and I found one the day before. So I figured instead of leaving it in a reply on a thread not everyone will read, I'd post it as it's own topic.

Right now (time of writing) it is June 22nd at 3:55 am. So if anybody can get earlier preview info within the next two days feel free to post it here.

I got an email today from the promoters about what can and can't be brought into the Vancouver show and the good news is that taping is allowed.

I am pretty sure this is the same for each city but i don't want to speak for other cities.

The email said that the Tragically Hip have no problems with fans taping their shows and that audio recording devices would be allowed in.

It does say that no mic stands or video recorders are allowed and that there will be no designated area for those wishing to record the show.

Digital Cameras are fine as are picture phones.

I will do my best to record the show but i doubt my equipment will be as good as some of the others going to the show who will be taping it.

Rock on...rockers....

I will be at the door working the Classic Rock 101 / CFOX winner list table so stop by and say hi if you are going!

Anyone else seen this commercial? Just saw it tonight and it exclusively featured The Hip with Summer is Killing Us. Didn't even make mention of the other artists or songs.

Of course we all have the song, but I will still try my best to get that cd!

Anyone else get a personal call from the lovely people over at Ticketbastard confirming that you need to bring your confirm #, ID and credit card to the show? I got mine this afternoon, they said the Hip made them do it!
All for now,
Aaron
