For anybody who's interested, I'm in the process of tabbing and writing out chords for most songs on IBE. I'll post them once I get more full songs completed.

First off, I'm a long time reader, few time poster...great forum! :thumb:

I was in The Future Shop (Saskatoon) the other day and to my delight, they were playing IBE (quite loudly, in fact!) over the store speakers. While making my way to the video games section, as expected, I came across a number of young ones playing the various consoles and checking out the games. It was at that time that Melt came on and I had a little "uh oh" moment as Gordie belted out the F' bomb! Then of course, Copenhagen comes on with the F' bomb triple play and I look around at the kids and employees...no reaction! I coulda swore that they woulda yanked the disk or turned it down, but they didn't. Very cool! 8)

That leads me to think that Gordie has some sort of immunity or something when it comes to swearing. When I think back to The Hip songs I've heard on the radio, I can't think of any that have been bleeped (like Locked, for example). Have any of you noticed this incredible uncensored phenom that is The Tragically Hip?

Hey I'm Michael from Oakton, VA. I got hooked on The Hip thanks to my friend from SK that I met in college. He brought down some Hip for my wedding last year and I have been hooked since. :thumb:

Anxiously awaiting US tour dates! Also, if anyone flies frequently from the East Coast of the United States to Saskatchewan or the prairies give me some tips on finding affordable tickets. Need to get to Prince Albert, SK for a July 25th wedding!

I downloaded IBE (Real Player) the other week and have been listening to it almost everyday, either in the car or at work. I must say compared to the last two albums I am very pleased. One of the things I like most about the hip is the lyrics. Does anyone know where I can find them online?

Anyone have any DVDs that have a whole bunch of shows in MP3 format on them. I used to be a hardcore collector, but let things go for a while. Now I am stuck with a huge box full of 150 cassette tapes of some amazing shows. Mostly it is what is on Hundredthmeridian.com but I have it on tape Sad

I figure quite a few shows could fit on one DVD.

Anyone with a DVD burner and a sizeable collection of shows want to do me the favour? Of course I'll pay for all materials and the time it takes to do the burning.

Okay if the Hip come out with another video for IBE after Vaccination Scar, what does everybody think it will be? Or hope it will be?

I got a feeling it may be Gus (my vote) or maybe Goodnight Josephine...
