Ok, a suggestion from the masses....what is your favorite song live? I obviously cannot add this into a poll, so ramble at will...

Chancellor and I need a ride to Sarnia this weekend. If anyone wants to drive us (plus 1 more female passenger) we will provide your Bayfest ticket (we bought an extra one) and some gas money. We live in Hamilton.

I was just sitting here at work and remembered that good ol Phantom Power came out 6 years ago today!!!

Can you believe that since Phantom Power, we've got 3 new hip albums and 2 Gord Downie solo albums!! I think that IBE has matched up the best to Phantom Power since it's release. Not to diss IVL or M@W, but IBE is just outstanding!!

Did anyone else think of the Phantom Power anniversary today?

Well, it took me about a year, but I've finally opened up to Hail to the Thief. Wow, this album is phenomenal. Much to the chagrin of critics everywhere, Radiohead has stayed away from their guitar driven roots and has chosen a more experimental route for their music. I was once one of those who was pining for The Bends 2, but now I've come to appreciate the transition that Radiohead has made over the years. How many other bands could get away with writing a song called Myxomatosis (aside from maybe The Hip)?

Just thought I'd share with you all my rediscovery of this truly great band.

Anybody ever go to the Alliston Potato festival? Last year I met some kids (18-20) from Alliston while I was camping at Darien Lake, I wasn't sure why Canadians would want to come down to NYS to camp with all that beautiful land up there, but anyway, they talked all night about this thing and I'm still confused. Darien Lake seems to be a pretty popular camping and vacation spot for people from Ontario, which also confuses me.

How dare she! In just one week, IBE has had a 50% drop in sales. Yikes!
Looks like the lack of touring and promotion is hurting them, not to mention a few scathing reviews from Canadian critics (Mike Bell from the Calgary Sun, I'm talkin' to you!) Not that record sales really matter that much, but if I were the Hip, I'd get my ass on the road, and quick. It's time for a full-on touring blitz of the U.S. and Canada. Common boys, where are those tour dates??

I'm in the market for a new computer and am kind of on a budget. the wife needs the computer for basic spreadsheet work and word processing. I will be using it for downloading music, searching the net, trying to figure out how use the torrent, burning cd's....

Just wanted to know what kind of computer i should be looking for...how many mhz, ram, hard drive space, what kind of sound card and or video card,.....remember i'm kind of on a budget. i've really only checked out the stuff at mdg.ca

any help would be appreciated.
