I'm curious, anyone knows of someone who named their child after one of the hip or like after a song like Cordeila or named their dog like Downie or something.

Anyone out there remember the (Toronto based?) band Rusty? Whatever happened to them? Groovy Dead is such a kick-ass song.

That thread about 'which songs you've heard live' got me thinking of another question: which MOMENT at a Hip concert meant the most to you?

For instance, I was at a gig in Montreal on the anniversary of the Montreal Massacre, and they of course played 'Montreal.' That was a chilling, riveting moment.

But it could be anything...some quip Gord made, whatever.

What do you guys think are the best 2 songs to close out an album with (with which to close out an album, I know, I know... it sounds dumb though)?

...to the Cyndi Lauper concert last night in Buffalo? AH-MAY-ZING. She has so much energy for a woman in her 50s. I got tired just watching her. What a great live performer...she's still cute as a button...and very interactive with the audience. I had a ball!

And now for tonight...The Cure in Toronto! I AM STOKED!!
