The concert took place in the golf course clubhouse, as part of the 5th Annual 102.1 The Edge (<!-- w --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.edge.ca">www.edge.ca</a><!-- w -->) Charity golf event. Also on the bill were Lowest of The Low, and "Supergroup" featuring members of Our Lady Peace, The Tragically Hip and Doctor.

well i hate computers , telling me i don't have a socket so went with out internet for a week , man that sucks .
so is anything new here or same crap with eveyone complaining since the hipclub is not updated or something
in pittsburgh general admission? or assigned seats?
Not to get all mushy or anything but *choked up* what a beautiful site this is! To think, us Hip fans have found a home, a home where we can just sit around and talk about our favourite band! I've actually felt recently that I've finally become a member. Back when I first joined I didn't even tickle the thought of actually posting on here. I just read stuff. A year later I decided to say something... Well, now I've gotten to know some of you (somewhat) and I must say, I don't know what I like more; the Hip or their fans... okay, maybe I like the Hip more... but still... I've had my spirits lifted on more than one occasion by reading through some of these threads.... Some funny stuff floating around here.... Hey, the occasional troll? Doesn't matter at all!... So I just had to say it; Lance, for whatever it may be worth, I thank you for maintaining such a site...
Aw, now I need to go eat some ice-cream.... (and listen to DFN) 
OK this has ticked me off for ages. What is up with CD-RWs that won't allow themselves to be erased?? I burned two yesterday using Nero and specifically UNselected the box saying "finalize cd (no further writing possible)" and now neither one of them will allow me to erase them when I right click from My Computer.
This has been happening to me for years...using the same program to burn them, and the exact same discs, some of them will erase and some won't. How the hell do these things work?! And is there any way to erase them??
Hey folks...
A family emergency has come up, and I am unable to use my front-row, centre tickets (2) for the upcoming Sarah Harmer concert here in Halifax on Saturday, Sept 11th at the Rebecca Cohn auditorium. The are in section C (centre), row A, seats 13 and 14, dead centre. I paid a total of $73.00 for the tickets, but if I could get $50 for the pair, I'd be grateful.
