I know it says on the Foundation website that the set times would be released when announced, but I still can't seem to find them anywhere... does anyone know anywhere else to get them?

So the latest hurricane, Ivan, is now a category FIVE as it roars towards Jamaica...the strongest hurricane in 10 years. It damaged over NINETY percent of the homes in Grenada, even destroyed a prison!

A chill literally went down my spine when I heard the Prime Minister of Jamaica ask his people to pray and say it's in God's hands now. Can you imagine Paul Martin or George Bush having the courage to say that? It would be so easy to hide behind a wall of bravado along the lines of "Oh, we'll persevere, we'll take care of our people", but the PM of Jamaica clearly has no qualms about admitting how terrified he is of the damage that could be incurred.

I don't even believe in the existence of one supreme being, and I'm not "literally" a praying man, but here's hoping like hell that this thing weakens before it hits the island.

The Hip should try and get on the bill at this festival. It is the biggest fesitval in the U.S. .It would be good exposure, they have had amazing line ups every year so far.

The NFL season finally returns! Which means its time to gamble again!

I also want everyone to know about a wager that The Darkest Canuck and I made. If the Bills win more games than the Dolphins this season (which is almost as inevitable as death), he has to switch to a Bills avatar permanently. If the biggest miracle since 1980 happens and the Fins win more games than the Bills, I have to switch to a Fins avatar. Originally the wager included one of us not posting for a month, but since his recent posts have not been (a) as often, and (b) troll-esque, I don't want to see him gone for a month because of his silly allegiance to a team of chokers and never-weres.

Any predictions for this season? Will the Pats repeat? Will the Seahawks (the Seahawks????) really represent the NFC in the Super Bowl like many of the experts are predicting? As a Cowboys fan, I'm nervous having a 68 year old quarterback, but Parcells always seems to do something with nothing.

The World Cup of Hockey, the start of the NFL season, the BoSox gaining on the Yanks. What an awesome time of year for sports fans! If only the NHLPA would remove their collective heads from their you know what.....

I really would love a copy of The Sadies set. I am not sure when they go on but probably early. I am willing to cover the costs of minidiscs or blank cdrs or whatever. Also I will give 5 Hip dvds to the person that does this for me and the masses. I can provide blanks dvds or Hip dvds from my collection. If anyone has any comments or questions please PM me.

I am looking into buying a DVD burner. I am wondering what the real differences are.
I see models that look identical with the +-, RW, 8X but the cost varies from $50 to $200 - for what looks like the exact same thing - even the software that comes with it is the same.
Any one want to give me a little tutorial - especially with the +-.
Also, the best software.
