Don't know if anyone caught the rendition of "God Bless America" during the 7th inning stretch of the Sox/Yankees game. I haven't seen a more pathetic display in a while. I noticed that the camera stayed away from closeups for the last half of the song. What a crock! People can laugh all they want and criticize people like Gord Downie for being off key while singing but at least Gord sang the song. He wasn't a coward by pre-taping a version and then faking it the whole way through. Sorry for the rant but I get pissed off when no talent hacks like this particular woman make it on television. If you can't perform live you have no right to be in the business.

Since were on the subject, I feel I need to vent my frustration. Particularly that of Microsoft Corporation. In the span of less than 2 weeks I downloaded that dam servicepack2 upgrade and it killed my computer, I couldnt boot I couldnt get to windows I lost all my data!!!!! I spent at least 10 hours on the phone with a service tech, trying to fix it. I had to reformat my drives and start over. I was soooo MAD! Then my XboX breaks, it kept freezing up! So now I have to pay 20 bucks to ship it and wait 8 days to get it back. thank goodness its still under warranty. Thats why Im bitter angry. :x Anybody else bitter,angry about something? Has anyone else been wronged by a large coroporation and wished they could strangle the company president or the person on the phone who keeps putting you on hold??? Time to vent.............

The second song Gordie intro's like it is the first, plus the recording sounds a little dfferent. Also there is a fade out after New Orleans, and that recording is a little different. Who knows what the real deal is?

I work at a Beer Store and just learned that the Chill magazines will have The Hip on the cover. They are free and they go quick. So grab one when you can. I plan on putting a few to the side so I may be able to mail a couple out to some 'trivia' buffs. I will keep you posted if I can...

Hi, I am anticipating getting some photos from an upcoming show. I took pictures from the Whiskey, and they turned out pretty good, but I was really close. I had a basic Kodak CX6200. With no options, and the digital zoom truely is useless

I'm gonna be 3rd row at the Saddledome, and I will be borrowing a 5.0mp Sony Cyber Shot DSC-P92. With many options, including a 3x optical zoom which will be beneftial.

I've been taking a few pictures and the focus seems to be a little blurry, partly due to my hand motion. I have been trying different settings.

In dark conditions the shutter speed is really slow in order to capture more light, however at a concert a slow shutter speed will not capture the fast movements of the band.

Short of taking both cameras, can anyone offer advise?
