So i heard a rumor today that there is a hip b-side from IBE called "fighter fighter" if this is true, anyone know where to get a copy?.

I've read a couple references to the Hip in Maxim magazine. Does anyone know about this? Was it an interview? What issue is it in?

I don't know how many of you people are gamers, but CounterStrike has been the most popular online FPS game for years now, and recently Valve has released Counterstrike: Source, which is an update to Counterstrike using the new HalfLife 2 engine. So I was playing, and for those of you that do not know, as the Counter Terrorists you have to save the hostages. So I am playing this new game and I goto save the hostages and look at this one hostage and could not believe my eyes:


Thats Gord circa 1995!! And when you are in game it looks even more like Gord, its too funny. Play it and check it out for yourself!

All I can say about this is WOW. Jon Stewart is a revelation. Not only does he call Tucker a "dick", but he also makes fun of his bowtie, but what is worse, is how he shows everyone that Crossfire is a joke and he does it on CROSSFIRE.

I remember my first Hip concert, it was February1995 in Hamilton I was 17 and I couldnt drive yet (dam graduated license). A friend at school had an extra ticket and said I could have it but I had to find my own ride. I asked my dad and he took me, he waited in the car while I went inside. I remember it was freezing cold that night, the wind chill was horrid. He said he listened to the show on the sidewalk for a bit, it was the first time he heard the Hip ever, he said it sounded really good. Inside the show was rockin, and I had a terrible seat, but I didnt care, I was there. The Hip sounded so awesome to me, it was not just my first Hip show it was my first concert ever. Definitely one of my fondest memories for sure. I paid my dad back this year I took him to see the Hip at Bayfest in Sarnia, he loved it! I just thought Id put this up, not for any real reason, I just thought it was a cool story. Anybody have an interesting story about a first Hip concert? Id like to hear about it. :thumb:
