hey everyone! im searching for the wasaga beach dvd from this year, as well as dvds for both toronto shows.

got this idea in the john lennon thread, and let's face it..there are some really crappy versions of songs we love by the original, but despise by whoever decides to butcher it.however, there have been a few exceptions..the neil young version of imagine i mentioned in that thread, the beatles doing twist and shout..(let's face it.they made it their own)..and a live version of new orleans i saw the stereophonics do in vancouver one year..it blew me away!!!
anybody have any others?

Pardon me if this has been asked already, but I haven't been able to find it. How can American residents download the new song? I have zero problem with paying 0.99 for it, if only I could find out how to get it.

Can someone please repost or tell where I can find cover art for this awesome dvd?

Is this really the exact same clown that said the Leafs screwed up by not offering Cujo more money than Sundin but now says "The owners got themselves into this mess because they spent money they didn't have for players who weren't worth it"? Is this the same guy that year in and year out bitches that the Leafs are more focused on turning a profit and not on winning? I could spend a full day dissecting the idiocy of his column, but I really should do some work today.

The PA's offer of a 24% salary rollback will merely encourage idiots like the Rangers and Stars to overpay more players, while the low revenue teams continue to get screwed. The 24% offer is a publicity stunt, because they know the owners are not going to accept any deal that doesn't do more to curb the future growth of salaries.

I got to thinking this on the way home from work yesterday and thought I'd put it to you guys and Chris.

I have always loved making mixed tapes and now mixed discs, both for myself and for others. I even remember back in the day, my first tape recorder was a crappy little Radio Shack thing that played and recorded but had no radio. I would take that and put it right up to the speakers of my parents big console stereo (that had a radio and 8-track player) and record songs off the radio and make my mixed tapes that way. There is even a site, http://www.artofthemix.org/index.asp that is dedicated to mixed tapes/discs.

Anyways, on my way home from work I got to thinking that there are probably plenty of people here who are also fans of mixed tapes/discs, and I'd sure like to hear someone else's idea of a good mix. Now with Bit Torrents, it's realistic to actually download someone's mix and burn it for myself.

So the suggestion is, is there a way to create a new section on the Hip Tracker and dedicate it to trading fan mixes? I don't mean Hip mixes, but everything else. If this isn't doable, perhaps a whole new tracker could be set up dedicated to this and linked from the tracker?

Anyone interested in this sort of thing?

Has anyone burned their FLAC files with winamp 5?

I am wondering it would still be lossless integrity?
