I have a take-home exam question for my 3rd yr history course. The question is:

You are to devise a THIRD-year-level university course in contemporary Canadian political history. What four major themes would you build this course around, and WHY??

Any suggestions anyone- its so broad.

i haven't seen fiddler's green at all on the song stats. just wondering if they ever played it live, or what ever else is up with that song. it would have been very interseting to hear.... also, what's gord say in blonde solid in the verse that starts "i was the funniest guy in the room, for half and hour or so, at a...?

Ok this thread is kind of just personal interest. I was listening to live between us when all of a sudden at the end of one of the verses in Twist My Arm it sounds like Gord says:

Sarnia

I don't know why he would say Sarnia at this point, I just thought it was kind of neat because I'm from Sarnia. After listening to it about ten times I am convinced that is what he is saying. Can anyone confirm?

Hey I was at the london show a couple of weeks ago and at the end of BObC i noticed a new rant/verse come out. Gord sang something about this is as bad or worse then............. or something like that and then near the end of it he was saying your love is a curse.

I was curious if maybe this will be a new song on the next disc. It has been stated by gord that the next album will carry a theme of love

and as we have seen before with mean streak bobc has been a place to tryout some new lyrics or maybe just to rant

I bought my uncle tickets for the Hip show in Saskatoon so in return he bought me tickets for the World Juniors in Grand Forks. I get to see Can vs Sweden on the 27th, Can vs Germany on the 28th and Can vs Finland on the 30th. Just wondering if anyone else was going down. It should be a blast!

The topic of "Road Apples Refuse" got me to thinking of other unreleased songs adn a possible greatest hits CD.

I always loved the song "Just As Well". I can't remember which boot it is on, but the version where Gord talks about giving his brain a little time to cool off before starting is CLASSIC CLASSIC Hip. Gotta love that raw "Up To Here" sound of that song!

I fully (and completely! Big Grin ) believe that if it was released today on a greatest hits package that it would be a huge hit and get tons of radio play!
