ROBERT PLANT TO RELEASE NEW ALBUM IN MAY (IN U.S.)

Robert Plant will release his new studio album on May 3rd. It's called Mighty Rearranger, and it was recorded with his band Strange Sensation, the group with which he recorded 2002's Dreamland. The first single is called "Shine It All Around," and it should be out in mid-March.


according to other press reports i've read this will be a "zeppelin" like rocker!! Dreamland was an amazing album, with plant sounding fresher then he has in years..i can't wait!!

All I've done the past two years is almost exclusively listen to the hip. So much so that I am nearly getting tired of the band. I think I need to take a break. Need some new tunes. Any one have any suggestions? New bands? CDs?

When i asked my source about an accompanying dvd, he said he hadn't heard.

On another note, Bobby Baker will be performing in Jesus Christ Superstar in Kingston....scheduled to begin in April.

Ive heard it before but it was sweet to hear on my drive home yesterday (1 1/2 hrs due to 1 cm of snow) on 97.7 Htz FM. Was wondering if there is an actual release of anykind with this version on it? It sounded crystal clear and the one i heard before sounded like a boot.

Hey all

This is for everyone who helped with the Rheostatics question. It was done so quickly (and didn't really mock me for not knowing it was a Rheos original) that I thought I would come back your way with this.

This may be tough. In the past year there's been a Telus commerical with pigs or cows, or whatever. The music was this golden New Wave track which may or may not be a straight cover of "Who Put The Bomp". Female singer, sounds kind of like Nina or the Go-Gos.

Any help? It's a Dance Cave staple back home and is driving me nuts (I also want to play it when I'm DJing Saturday night in Kingston)

sounds great, also sounds like it would make for an excellent dvd, which in turn could help raise even more funds.
