Ok, so I have the Nautical video from Hundredth Meridian.com and while it's watchable on a little tiny media player screen, it's not very high quality. I've tried everything and I can't seem to get a high enough quality for full screen viewing, I have a 1024x768 screen.

I'm on dial up so I don't want to waste time dling a new video and having it be the same crappy quality. Please help.

How do you play torrents??

Ok, well I recently bought a DVD burner, and bought Ridata 16x DVD+R media to burn. I haven't made any coasters as of yet (only about 10 discs), and they're all compatible with every machine I've tried them in.

Anyway, I'm looking to buy another spindle so I'm wondering if I should try out the -Rs this time... the price difference is marginal, but the -Rs also only come in 8x, not 16x... Anyway, just wondering what everyone's experiences are with the -R discs vs. +R. I figure I might as well stick with what works, but if I can save $5 on the -Rs and not lose any quality, then it could be worth it in the long run. Burn time doesn't really bother me, so the 8x vs. 16x isn't an issue.

However, I'd rather not go slower than 8x. I've heard that the 8x Ritek-Rs will only burn at 4x on some of the older LG burners (i've got the latest 4163B model - so I'm hoping this wouldn't be an issue). On the other hand, I've heard that those same 8x discs can actually be burnt at 12x with some burners. So if anyone has experience with this let me know.

Updated: 9:16 p.m. ET Feb. 7, 2005LONDON - A Welsh rugby fan cut off his own testicles to celebrate Wales’ beating England at rugby, the Daily Mirror reported Tuesday.

Geoff Huish, 26, was so convinced England would win Saturday’s match he told fellow drinkers at a social club, “If Wales win I’ll cut my balls off,” the paper said.

Friends at the club in Caerphilly, south Wales, thought he was joking.

But after the game Huish went home, severed his testicles with a knife, and walked 200 meters back to the bar with the testicles to show the shocked drinkers what he had done.

Huish was taken to hospital where he remained in a seriously ill condition, the paper said. Police told the paper he had a history of mental problems.

Wales’s 11-9 victory over England at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff was their first home win in 12 years.

I'm having probs with my scanner...can I email from Hotmail some of my pics to see if they scanned properly? I can see them as an email attachment, but I can't save them to my hard drive. Is there someone on Hotmail iscan send them to as a trial?

Wow this site rocks....I don't know how I have managed to miss it before but I plan on coming here often now. I have been a hip fan for years now and usually have seen 1 to 2 shows a year. However since I moved south of the border I have not had the chance to see The Hip as much since they never seem to get close enough to me. That all changed this past October when they came to Asheville, NC and played the Orange Peel. I packed up the car and took my American wife out to show her how real music sounds and what real fans are like. We had an awesome time and it was good to be around so many transplants. The best part of the show though was being able to bring my camera in....something I have never been able to do at a Canadian show. Amway's thought I would share these with everyone and I may even enter one in the photo contest.....which ironically is how I found the site

I for one am going to miss CBC's coverage of the Olympics...I honestly think they do an incredible job covering the Summer and Winter Olympic Games, besides that and Hockey Night in Canada the rest of CBC is pretty much a waste of my time...well maybe not Road to Avonlea :oops:

It'll be weird not seeing Bryan Williams and Ron McLean behind the desk...and that means that Bob Cole, Harry Neale and Don Cherry probably won't make an appearance either, like em' or not they're the voice and face of Canadian Hockey...I'm kinda bummed about this...get used to seeing Rod Black's smiling face Canada
