check it out, i would never bid on it but i thought that some of you might like to to take a look

Well as I announced on here a little while ago I finally got around to getting my hands on a mac.

It's been about a month now that I've been using it somewhat regularly and I have nothing but praise for this thing. I'm absolutely blown away with the quality of this machine and the software that is on it. I've been building my own PCs for about the last 6 or 7 years and I'd say I'm a power user and know how to get what I want out of a PC. Let's just say I've never been able to customize my machine to the same degree that this G4 iBook is made. Apple has totally thought of everything with this thing. I haven't used a mac regularly in about 10 years, but I had no idea they were this well made. OS X Panther is very killer too, just overall a very impressive package.

In the meantime, Windows can eat my shorts.

Again, I'm BLOWN AWAY with the quality of this thing... and haha, kinda ironic I'm posting this message from internet explorer on a pc.. lol

Was just cruising ticketbastard to see who would be playing when I'm down in Vegas ina a coupel of weeks...and SCORE! I miss Audioslave and NIN which is a bummer, but Harper at the Hard Rock should be pretty sweet I think.

How-day, long time no type.

Fantastic show as usual! The last time they rolled through Calgary it was a packed house, but for some reason it was a much smaller crowd tonight. There was maybe a hundred people there, tops. Still, it didn't stop the boys from rocking the hell out of the place, not to mention playing 2 encores and finishing off with a beautiful version of Rosy & Grey!

did anyone else notice in Grace, Too when gord says "Armed ready for you" and very purposefully points at the camera, they quickly switched cameras.
He seemed to notice this and seemed to try to switch to the next camera (or two even) I think, not getting the right one. (they switched to the one beside Paul.

Something seemed weird about that exchange.
I hope the cbc isnt 'censoring', if that is really the right term.

Normally I don't listen to techno, but the song in the new Canadian commercials (the ones with the girls saying "Hi, my name is....", then "I'm having trouble with my boyfriend") has really been stuck in my head these past few days. I've heard at hockey games, and in some movie, but I don't know the name of it, or who it's by. Does anyone?

THE BRONX (April 6) -- Major league baseball on Wednesday set April 8 as the date for the historic start of the conclave to elect a successor to Mariano Rivera, as the Yankees made final arrangements for the funeral of a great career that is expected to draw millions of Yankee fans and world leaders to the Bronx.

The decision came after the future Hall of Famer blew his second save in as many days against the team's biggest rival, the World Champion Red Sox, giving up five runs in the ninth, getting battered like a rented mule and ignominiously getting removed from the game in the middle of the inning, the fourth consecutive time he has blown a save to the Red Sox dating back to the 2004 ALCS. Fans at Yankee Stadium even booed the great closer on his way back to the dugout, proving beyond a shadow of a doubt that Yankee fans are headed to hell.

Yankees GM Brian Cashman said the Yankees would be sequestered in the team offices in the early afternoon to start the decision process for the next closer. Candidates include Oakland's Octavio Dotel, Detroit's Ugueth Urbina, current set-up man Flash Gordon, Rick Ankiel and Charlie Sheen. The Yankees will continue to use Rivera from the bullpen, but only in blowouts and games where the lead or deficit is 6 runs or more.

If none of the candidates gets the required two-thirds majority after about 12 days, the Yankee braintrust may change procedure and elect the closer by simple majority. The date was set on the third hour of preparatory meetings of Yankee front office people who have converged on the Bronx ahead of Friday's funeral and burial of Rivera's career.

Fans continued to flock to Yankee Stadium after Wednesday's game, jamming up streets as they waited to pay their final respects to Rivera, who has been lying in state of shock since the Red Sox hammered him off the field for the second straight day. More than 200,000 Yankee fans will have filed solemnly by the pinstriped body by the end of Wednesday night, at a rate of about 15,000-18,000 people an hour in a nearly around-the-clock procession, according to calculations by the Yankee front office.
