Used to have this from the hip club, but lost it. Anyone know where to get it?
Didn't see the whole show via periscope, so was wondering if the band stayed physically close together on stage the whole show
Reasons?
Solidarity
Not wanting Gord to feel a need to move as much?
Make Gord look like he still has great mobility?
It was obviously done for a reason...

Got a window-washer's head
For an unmakeable bed
For loneliness
The past is no place to
Rest your weary arms 'cept at sevens at yer sides
Your face a campaign debt, reflected sky
You die to your fans one window at at a time, that's right
Gotta a window-washer's eye
For an untuckable sky
For lonely design
The past is no place to
Try, but I'll get my mind's armies moving at full stride
Singing in one voice, preoccupied
And with nothing to say, I'll sing it bright, that's right
I am here
It's only me
I ain't freed nobody yet
It's just me
I'll just be a sec
I'm a cleaner, I'm no threat, no threat, no threat
I'm a reader, I'm no threat
Who sings lonely?
Everyone sings lonely
It doesn't sound so bad
Who is free?
Everybody's freed from the tired of being sad
So sad
How will I know?
How will I know if I'm helping?
More so, how will she know if I'm helping?
If I'm not in the saddle, I'm nothing, that's right
I am here
It's only me
I ain't freed nobody yet
It's just me
Clearing spider webs
I'm a listener, I'm no threat
I am here
Failed and failing breath
I'm a listener, I'm no threat, no threat, no threat
I'm a watcher
I'm no threat
No threat
No threat
I am a Beatles fan

I love this song.
Just wondering if there is a thread or a movement or even a list of people who will be live streaming the concerts. I'm going to the Ottawa show but would love to watch tonight's show and many others across the tour. I'm actually quite surprised the band hasnt offered up a live stream, I would have paid for it!
Hey there everyone,
I'm the editor of a blog called The Same Page. We focus on sports and pop culture in Canada, and Toronto specifically. Today I wrote an article (with the help of several guests-friends, fans, and local musicians) to reflect on what the Hip has meant to us. I thought Id share the link here, and invite you all to share your favourite Hip memories in the comments. Hope everyone who's going to the shows has a wonderful and cathartic time.
All the best,
Dan Grant

Random question. There was a couple that opened for the Hip during the Music @ Work tour and I've never been able to figure out who they were. I remember the woman singing a duet with Gord on "Lake Fever." I'll blame age on this one.
Flying up from San Francisco to see the start of the tour in Victoria. Have a good show everyone and God bless the Hip and Canada. :thumb:
C'MON, JUST LET'S GO!

Kind of reminds me of the Hip Museum site
I record video at every single concert I attend and I have a seat close to the front for Friday's show in Victoria. I also am a photographer and take photos at shows frequently.
Here's examplers of my work at the 2015 show in Victoria
A video I shot from the 2015 Victoria show: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gH4uqcdht7Y
My photos from the 2015 Victoria show: https://www.facebook.com/15343085813373 ... 7187363431
My question is, given this is the first show of what could be the final tour, do I record video of the show front to back? Do I record most of the show on video, but skip a few songs to take photos? Do I shoot both video and photos and only record a select few songs on video.
Now before anyone tells me to put the camera away and "live in the moment", taking photos and recording video is how I enjoy concerts. I like being able to relive the show years from now. I use a good point and shoot camera and never a cell phone. I stand still and keep my shots smooth and steady. And I record audio separately. My new camera even has a viewfinder that shuts off the LCD screen so I can avoid annoying those behind me.
If there isn't any issues with security I'll be able to:
1. Record audio from start to finish on an audio recorder with mics clipped on me.
2. Be able to record video of the show in 4K
3. Be able to take really good photos because I'm up close and the camera has a 1-inch sensor.
Part of me wants to record it front to back because so people can relive the entire show, but the other of me also wants to get some nice stills because I lucked out on getting a really close seat. Also at the same time I don't really want people to think I'm showing disrespect in these circumstances by having a camera in my face the whole time.
