hey everyone, I was looking through some old cds today and I found a bunch of those Molson Canadian Rocks Edgefest discs, and one of the bands on one of the samplers is Rusty. They are a band out of Toronto, and their main hits are misogony, empty cell and wake me. I was just wondering if anyone knows whatever happened to them

I have a question for anyone that can help me out. Often I download songs that go straight to itunes (including No Threat downloaded from this site) after a few hours if I try and play it again, I see a little box appear that states it can not find the original file and therefore can not play it. Can anybody please help me out with this, it would be greatly appreciated.

hey yaall hipbasers! I hope y'all are having a great time!

I was at a karokee in northern cali tonight, but much to my chargin there was no hip. i sang neil young's "heart of gold" with a Wyoming dude (not sure what a "wyongingmate, wyongitonian....) Is called, but it was fun. I called out for a Gord Downie kick, held the microphone stand like it was mine, tipped my head back, almost fell over, laugehd, yelled out for the Canadians...who were in abundance, and they yelled back...here is gord downie, gave the best "kick" i could said, a microphone, and a mircoe phone stand.....then they (americans) shut off my microphone....it was a good night in my books...im off to bed, like ive saidn the hipbase makes me fell canadian even as an expatriarch (or a "traitor depending who you are...i love canada, and so do the rest of the candian nurses, we just wish canada would see how important we are (and doctors) are to the health of canada.,.....hip...hip....hip...hip...i hope i get tickets to the hip when they tout californian agaian.......anyway im too drunk to type (taklen 45 min for this post alone)...hiphiphip....peaceout, takecare, and love the hip (and each other ( for who and what they are)

I used to love these guys. Back when I first discovered the glory of Canadian rock in the late 80s/early 90s, Moe Berg was one of my favorite songwriters. I'll definitely be buying tickets for their reunion tour, and I just might have to pick up the greatest hits disc as well. Any other TPOH fans out there?

The Tragically Hip has rocked for 20 years, made 10 studio albums and sold six million discs. On Nov. 1, Gord Downie, Gord Sinclair, Rob Baker, Paul Langlois and Johnny Fay will release a two-CD greatest hits package titled Yer Favourites and a two-DVD boxset titled Hipeponymous.

To commemorate the Kingston band’s greatest hits, The Whig-Standard invites you to share your Hip memories with us.

Maybe you fell in love while slow dancing to Long Time Running.

Or perhaps you didn’t discover the Hip until you went to the Across the Causeway concert last year.
