Just wondering if the site was down for a few days.
By the look of the posts it doens't look like it.

and.......

I right clicked and "save target as..." on the Big Sugar podcast MP3 Icon and it downloaded to 99%, then my computer rebooted (rather quickly I might add, wish it was that fast all the time) by itself ???

This game is going to be great this year! Most fo my favorite Canadian artists will be playing: Sarah Harmer, Sam Roberts, Jim Cuddy, and two guys by the name of Paul Langlois and Gord Sinclair. I wonder if Paul's ass-kicking ways translate onto the ice??

I was just walking down Bloor St. yesterday here in Toronto, and everywhere were posters advertising the upcoming show at Fort York. On my way back home, I noticed a set of posters that were only stapled down 1 side, and tucked around the post. I grabbed them, rolled them up & headed home :thumb:

I'm sure some of you have seen this already but it's a cool little acoustic performance from Rob and Craig. There are also performances by Cowboy Junkies and 54-40 from previous sessions.

Tea Leaf Green is hitting the El Mocambo in Toronto on March 24th. Tickets come to 15 bucks which includes all the services charges. Should be a blast, they usually give a solid 2 sets. Any TLG fans in the hip world? I'll see ya there!

Hey Y'all!

Since I've always enjoyed the community aspect of Hipbase, I thought I'd post here about a project that I've been working -- a community website that acts as a loose affiliation of writers, booksellers and small press publishers.

If you have an interest in the small press scene -- be it through books, journals, zines or whatever -- come check us out. Poetry, fiction, non-fiction -- alternative stuff -- not available from the major publishers.

Not much happening right now -- just a few friends signed up. If you'd be so kind -- please provide some feedback on site design, et al. Let me know if its constructed logically, etc.

Of course, this project and process is still being tested. The site is currently in the final stages of development and testing.

I've got mine, but at least theres still hopes for those who got screwed by the technical difficulties. Cant wait to get the ticket in the mail...or the will call...or the mail...or the will call... hock:
