About two years ago I was lucky enough to be to purchase Rory's massive analog tape collection. His detailed information on the tapes can be found here:

Unfortunately my analog tape decks died and I have no way to play these tapes anymore and I'd rather not buy an analog tape deck.

So I am selling the collection that I purchased as a whole collection. I believe there are over 400 Hip analog tapes. I am also throwing in the rest of my analog tape collection making the final count to be 658 tapes.

I am selling the whole collection for $200 Canadian + shipping costs.

Am I the only person who sees a problem with this so called benefit? This is great if you have a computer at work, but what if you don't? Even the sales to the general public are on sale in the middle of the week. What happened to the days when tickets to every show went on sale on Sat. morning and you waited out all night? These kids today have it way to easy.Sorry for the bitching,just feeling a little cheated is all.

Listening to the great April 18, 1992 show posted on the tracker by TLB, and something donned on me. Does anyone else think that You See The Details sound just like Crack My Spine Like A Whip, except of course with completely different lyrics? I'd never heard a full version of Details live before, so I'd never been able to make this call.

Hi All

I was just wondering if anyone has a copy of The Hip performing " Locked in the Trunk of a Car" from the JUNO awards in, I think 1993. They were performing in Australia and some dude on a bike brought the tape to the VJ and he said: " And now performing from Australia to the Junos, The Tragically Hip!"....It is the best rockin' version of Locked I have ever heard! They were performing in a small bar in Australia...If anyone could help me, it would be greatly appreciated! I will send my e-mail address..Thanks for taking the time to read this....

Coming from Southern Ontario this isn't a big deal there, but it's amazing what will put a smile on your face when you not expecting it... :mrgreen:

The only HIP that I have heard in Pittsburgh in the past 7 yrs has either come from my speakers or at the Rock Club 2 yrs ago. There is NO radio play what so ever.

Anyways... I was having some wings and a couple of pints at the local Buffalo Wild Wings when I clued into the beginning of Bobcaygeon on the Juke box. That was likely the best beer Ive enjoyed in quite some time listening to my favorite song.
