Well...

After 4 years, three majors and 168 credit hours, I have *finally* finished my undergraduate degree! Are there any other members of the Class of '06 on hipbase? Surely I can't be the only one. Really, at this point, I'm wading around in my own sense of shock and disbelief. Is it really over? No more college? As I move forward I want to thank the general population of hipbase for fielding random questions with topics ranging from useless language theory and classroom management to dormitory fire alarms and drunken roommates. I especially want to take pause to thank one 'base member in particular. Esthete, darling, you are exceptional for dealing with my waffling, fear, dread excitement and unpredictability the last couple of months. Your devotion and support is not to be overlooked. I love you!

So...with that...I can now post as a slightly more educated member of this little community.

Did anybody else catch his performance on SNL last night? I was in utter awe. I have his last effort, "You're The One", and I didn't like that at all, but after last night, I'm thinking about picking up "Surprise". I'd go as far to say that Paul Simon brought it more this week than the Chili Peps did last week! Wow, that was awesome!

Does anyone have the audio or the actual music video of that song when it was played live at much in 1998? Its a sweet version of the song and I want for a TP album Im putting together, if anyone has it I'd love to get a copy. Its probably a long shot but it never hurts to ask,

Hey all. I failed to acquire tickets for the gig at the Commodore on the 26th, and was curious if anyone knew how one could get tickets for the show at this point? Obviously there are no scalper tickets, but are there any alternatives?

Any advice would be great, or if you want to tell me that I'm shit out of luck, that's fine too
