I wouldn't normally self-indulgantly promote my band on message boards, but I figured any Toronto based Hip fans would be interested in this.

That's right rockers and rockesses, The Great Canadian Nobodies have been bringing you the finest acoustic tribute to Canadian music this side of Etobicoke for the past 3 years. They are now stepping it up several notches with a new feature called GREAT CANADIAN ALBUMS.

If it sounds interesting, that's because it is!

The G.C.N will be perfoming
a) the TRAGICALLY HIP's FULLY COMPLETELY in it's FULL COMPLETENESS

I know Im pulling a seanbonner here, but its like 40 degrees in London today, dam its HOT!! And since my ass ain't leaving this house and my wife is at work, Ive had to occupy myself. Here's my recipie for a really hot day..

First: Call in sick to work (ahh God bless paid sick days)

Secondly, mix up a big jug of the following:
-Smirnoff Citrus Twist Vodka
-Triple Sec
-Peach 5-Alive Juice
-Lots of Ice

Then watch:
Rambo:First Blood on DVD

Then eat:
Pork Ribs covered in bbq sauce..yummy!

All the while:
My A/C unit going full tilt, with 2 fans blowing..

Anybody else feeling the heat today? Today is brutal, Ive already been out all friday and saturday swimming and Im burned so Im staying in, its one of those days where you dont want to move. What do you guys do to beat the heat??

As of today, July 15th, two of my best friends are officially off the market. Such events promt me to ask, in your opinion, what is the best wedding song -- that is, first dance as man and wife? My vote is a toss up between three: The Hip - Flamenco, Ben Folds - The Luckiest and Tom Waits - Little Trip to Heaven on the Wings of Your Love. Thoughts?

Not sure who this is in reference to,,, but we got a money order RECEIPT in the mail, and have no idea who sent it to us. It came with no letter attached and no addess, so therefore we can not let you know that you sent us a receipt and not the money order. Hopefully you still have the money order itself! If you still want your hipbase shirt send us the Money Order and we will ship out your shirt.

I'm a huge Hip fan and certainly don't mean to offend any diehards out there but I'm just curious.

Are there any Hip tunes that you find yourself skipping over from time to time?

Like any other great band, I'm sure the Hip have a few tunes that just don't connect or move you the same as all the others. I'd really like to know what songs might make this list.

I'll start things off with 3 words.....Tiger the Lion.
