i was just wondering if i was the only wierd one out there lol

is it normal to sit in your driveway in the car after getting back home but must wait till the hip song on the radio finishes before turning the car off and getting out?

I just read a book on Bobby Sands the IRA guy who starved himself for 62 days back in 81 protesting British internment of IRA members. "Nothing but an unfinished song" it's called; good read.

Just started "Under the Banner of Heaven" by John Krakauer. About these crazy mormon funamendalists in Colorado and Utah. Scary sh#t! Messed up religion man.

it's really petty and dumb, but when i click on my start menu, i don't see my User pic beside my user name anymore, and i also don't get the menu when i start up my computer which shows my user name/pic..when i go to change things around about changing the way i log on it says i need to uninstall client services for netware or somethin like that, but i don't even know what that is!!! i just want my pic back!

i've heard a bunch of these and find them interesting.

when gord says "this is called..." or "this song is about..." then makes something cool up.

i liked when they were at woodstock and when they started playing poets gord said the song was called "in hindustan where we stopped to rest our weary caravan."

or sometimes he will introduce the band as a different name. give your fav examples of these types of things. and i don't mean when he starts the song with a rant, only when he actually says "this song is called..." or something like that.

Ok, last year I poured brita water into water bottles to freeze and use on a hot day.

Well when I took the bottle out of the freezer half of the water was not frozen, and the other half was in a gel like state. (that's really weird)

I said, whatever, and threw it out, and went on my marry way.

It just happen again today.

Any scientist types out there have any idea what's going on?

I have a video, it doesn't show much, the bottle of water was in the freezer for 20 hours and the ice looking stuff, is very soft, and mushy like gel. The 3 other bottles came out frozen.

The Spades wrapped up recording at the bathouse and recorded a couple tunes in different areas of the bathouse including footage of them recording in the kitchen/living room- check it out at the link below also there is pics in the media section(Merchant Gallery) of them playing with Gord Sinclair and Travis Good of The Sadies a few months back! Also if you live close to Peterborough,ON there is a free show on Wednesday August 16th at "www.thefestivaloflights.ca" featuring The Spades and The Sadies , the following Saturday the 19th its The Trews - the shows are both free! its a pretty nice setup for an outdoor show.
