The banner for presale on thehip.com after you click on it... shows the Toronto dates as Oct. 23, Oct. 24, Oct. 26, and Oct. 27. I'm assuming this is just an error?

not really anyones business, but hey, the guy sucks. and well, I just think this is funny.

I don't know if anyone cares or not, but I saw Pearl Jam here last night. Good show, though I was in concert no-man's land, three-quarters of a way back on the floor.

I'd never been to a Pearl Jam concert before, so the highlights I'm going to mention may well be things that happen at every Pearl Jam concert. Regardless, the highlights:

- Eddie reading phonetically from pre-written German text to talk to the crowd. Very cute. The crowd giggled a lot.
- Changing the lyrics in "Elderly Woman" to "My God, it's been six years," as that was the last time the band was in Austria
- Great versions of Elderly Woman, Daughter (nice echo game played with the crowd), Why Go, Off he Goes, Black, Alive, and Fucking Up.
- Eddie is good at tambourine throwing and catching.
- Eddie moved to the soundboard for the first song of the encore. It was the dreadful Last Kiss, but it's cool that he spent a song near the people sitting in the back.
- I liked his sign-off: "When we meet again, I hope the world's a more peaceful place."

So I've just made it here downunder for my whirlwind work/play 8 day tour and find out that tickets for the shows in Calgary go on sale at 2:00 in the morning here tonight in Australia. I've not had a lot of sleep since I left Calgary on Sunday night and I'll be passed out cold by 2:00 AM here tonight and nowhere near a computer anyway.

I know it's a long shot but if anyone here could score me a ticket to either the Oct. 30th or Nov. 1st shows I would be forever in debt to them.

So please Calgary hipbasers, if you don't need a full 4 tickets to either the Monday or Wed. shows, please, please hook me up.

Forgive me if this has been asked already, but time is of the essence....

Only one Montreal show is up at thehip.com, and that is the show of Nov. 09th. Will the other 2 shows be available tomorrow morning as well? Anyone know anything about this?

Some clown is claiming to have tix for the T.O. show for sale already.

What is the point if you can't sell em for more than face value which it clearly states on The Hip's website

I got the message in my inbox this morning, that tix go onsale tomorrow... does anyone know how the presale will work? Buy on ticketmaster, and use your registered email from thehip.com? or will they mail out a password?


Can't wait! may do all 4 shows!
