Alright...

I don't know of any rock radio stations in Southwestern Ontario that don't have some Hip tickets to give away. Between The Edge, FM98, Y108, and The Hawk and probably some others, we'll have an opportunity to screw Ticketmaster over and win some tickets rather than pay $12 in "service fees". So if you know of any contests going on, post them here and let's see if some real fans can't score some tix.


I just got an e-mail stating that Y108's going to be giving away tickets everyday this week. Tomorrow morning, during the morning show, there's going to be a montage of Hip songs that a caller will have to correctly identify to win. Since the other opportunities don't require you to know Gord's voice from a moose call, I think this is the best opportunity for a hipbaser to win some tickets! Hopefully there will be at least one song in the clip that will not be a single and will require some thought and/or devotion.

So study up, kids. And I'll see you in class tomorrow morning.

Very sad news. It's weird that this kind of violence happend in an Amish community. I guess this proves that nobody is immune to this kind of stuff.

Just heard on edge 102 this morning that the hip are playing a private show at a secret location on October 17th. The only way to go is to win tickets on the radio for contests or through the inside edge.

Start listening!! They give aways tickets every day at 10am, 2pm, 6pm and 10pm if you call in.

So, I went to the Elton John concert last night in Edmonton, and it was Amazing!

He sang for almost 3 hours, and never was there a break! He started off with some old classics, then sang some newer songs from Captain & the Kid (which is an amazing album).
He finished off with an incredible rendition of Rocket Man, Crocodile Rock, Saturday Night, Daniel my Brother, and then capped it with Your Song....needless to say, nobody went home dissapointed.
If you have a chance to go see his concert on this tour, do it. You won't regret it.

With all these mult-night stands and the varied setlists that usually come with this... it would be a great opportunity to release them all on livedownloads.com!! Hint hint nudge nudge.

trying to hook up an avatar for this place...it's saying pic must be 9kb or fewer...wondering how one does this? i've got a tiny pic, have reduced everything -- size, pixels etcetc. but can't get it to work.

new to the board, and couldn't really figure out where to post this. Did everyone have to wait till 10:09 to get tickets or only some of us. I was right in there when it opened and I did not get any tickets to the Saturday show. Still got Monday and Wed fron the fan club pre-sale but I wanted Saturday!! Boy I sound like a baby here but I was just wondering if anyone got in B4 10:09?
