Pete Townsend was being interviewed on Directv's SXSW coverage Friday and was asked if he's heard any good new bands lately. He said he's been too busy to go see any but:

"I know they're not new, but...on the Who's support...the band that really stood out to me were The Tragically Hip. I know they're not new, but they were great."

Not too shabby.

Daft Punk has THE CRAZIEST live show ever. Someday, I will get to these guys. Definetly an unique concert.
I downloaded an audio torrent from last year's Coachella, and it was the most amazing sounding show ever! They combine a tonne of their songs and it makes it that much more intense!

Here's a bit of their show (multi-angle). Starts off slow, give it a chance though!

They just showed a spot on the Hip during 1st intermission. I think I recorded it on my PVR, but it was a last minute record job, so I may not have got the whole thing...will have to see after the game!
