This might be a short thread but are The Hip name-dropped in anyone else's songs?

The only example I know of is the song Crabbuckit by K-OS.

Snakes and Arrows is a really good album (best since Moving Pictures). GO GET IT.

The tour is great - lots of stuff pulled out of the vault, new stuff, and of course fan favourites. 2:45 playing time with a 20 min intermission. And of course the amazing light show and video production. And Lil Rush kicks ass, too. GO SEE THIS SHOW.

Last week I was up in Sudbury for my best friend's bachelor party and his brother Scott, who is an aspiring actor made this little video for him in the persona of Robert Goulet, and it was f**king hilarious. There are a few inside jokes in this and I'll let you in on them.

Mike is a pharmaceutical sales rep hence the "he keeps me in drugs" comment.

Mike is a huge fan of Top Gun and Iceman...it's gotta be their uber-faggy hair conncection.

EDIT: It just dawned on me that this should probably be in the YouTube thread...if any of the mods want to move it there, that's cool.

Just curious to find out if we could get a sticky thread in the Downloading/Trading part of the forum where traders could post links to their online live music tradelists.

I believe hipfans has some links, and many members have links in their signatures, but for newbies (or new maybes), who don't know which members are collectors, or those who don't or can't use bitTorrent, it might be easier to get started if we had an organized thread.
