Every year there's a free* concert at Harris Park here in London, this year's lineup is looking pretty good so far: Sam Roberts, Finger Eleven, Bobnoxious and more, check it out..

I know this is related to The Hip trading pool, but I recieved this from a guy on Dime:

I may well think twice about putting stuff on there again. £18 is extortionate as well - I hope he doesn't sell anything! :rambo:

Anyway, rant over. Has anyone else had this problem before?

we've got a family cottage in the kawartha's and ive been thinking of putting up a small windmill since the breeze down the lake is almost constant. i was wondering if anyone has done this to their home and/or cottage? do you notice the benefits? does it create alot of noise?

does anyone know of any companies in the peterborough area that would come to our place and check it out and give us a installation quote?

Not the snappiest title I know, but I had to share this!

I've just gotten back from a climbing trip to Hereford in the West Midlands (on the border of Wales - I used to go to uni there), and as we were driving around looking for the campsite I spotted this on the map!

My buddy has never been to a concert (he a so/so hip fan) and he wants to understand why some people LOVE HIP concerts. I can't articulate what it means to attend one of these amazing concerts... could anyone take a swing at it in 200 words or less? Smile

I'm trying to get him to come to one this summer, so we'll see.

I'd love to hear some of the explanations!

US 2 Canada 1 Gold Cup Semi (this is soccer)

Canada was the better team. The offside call was wrong and the tying goal should have counted. Also, Bocanegra should have been sent off in the first half for that reckless challenge.

Hopefully Canada gains some confidence from the Gold Cup and continues to get better so they can qualify for World Cup 2010.
