Summiteer posted some UFO stuff in the YouTube thread and it reminded me about a local talk show host and "UFO" sightings lately.

Here's the story behind how I obtained these shots...

On Saturday October 20, 2007 I stopped at a local business on the spur of the moment. One of the employees knew of my interest in the paranormal, and asked if I might be interested in seeing photographs her boyfriend had taken in July, during a trip to San Francisco. Of course! But I wasn't expecting the photos to be of such high quality.

The pictures you are seeing were taken in a span of about 30 seconds, at approximately 11 PM. The object(s) were not seen at the time the photos were taken.

I can't even begin to estimate how many hours I listened to this man's words as they filtered into my transistor radio, night after muggy night, summer after hot summer.

I never met the man, but I was probably more familiar with Joe, the man, than I was with either of my own grandfathers. I'll always have a special place in my heart for The Ol' Lefthander.

I've heard that Rogers chokes torrents, which to me seems like a pretty clear violation of the rights its subscribers should reasonably expect to have: they advertise their service as "high speed," but then restrict the speeds of users who actually use their connections to capacity.

The same principle is in play here.

I recently watched "Office Space" again, I hadn't seen it in a couple years.

Am I the only one in cubicle land who thinks this is one of the funniest movies of all time? :thumb:

Many things hit so close to home, I swear it could have been filmed in my office. :lol:

  First My External, Now My Computer

Apparently something shorted out on it last night, and it started smoking from the fan.
Its been shipped off for repair and is going to cost me 80$ just to have it looked at. Insane.
Also,my warranty expired FOUR DAYS AGO.
Rediculous.
Without a cellphone, I usually use my computer to make casual contact with friends and tomake plans. So thats a bit complicated.
But nowhere near as bad as the work that I've lost.

I know what you'rethinking, "Well Sean, you should have backed up your stuff."

I did...on to my external, which is in for repairs as well. I was told data recovery on my external was "doubtful" as well.
I feel like I should be in a series of unfortunate events.

And its looking like I'm going to have to sell my Wintersleep and Feist tickets so I can afford repairs on a new computer. I was talking to Corby last night about how my computer was making a funny noise,and how I'dget it looked after later. I'm guessing those are connected...

Anyways. I'll probably be out of contact for a while. The podcasts will basically be shut down for a few weeks. Sorry, I just had to rant.

And if this can't be fixed and I have to get a new computer (or the repair costs are so rediculous that I should just get a new one)... I will buckle down and relearn how to use a computer. Thats right,I'm gonna go MAC.

A year and a half old.

What a piece ofshit.

And don't even bother trying to call Toshiba tech support.
I gave up after two hours of being on hold.

I'll shut up now.

Also seen and heard throughout are Nirvana's touring guitarist Pat Smear, an original Germs member and the original and now recurrent guitarist of The Foo Fighters.

The DVD adds the MTV News "Bare Witness" feature of interviews with the band, the MTV production staff, and fans in the audience, plus the rehearsal footage for "Come As You Are," "Polly," "Plateau," "Pennyroyal Tea" and "The Man Who Sold The World."

So I got an email update from the JLC here in London, announcing a presale for Avril Lavigne:

Hey !

Best Damn Thing, released in April 2007, is already certified platinum ... Fans can expect to see the high-spirited energy of the record come to life through Lavigne’s stage show, which will feature dancers and a live band.

So now it's a big deal if you go to a concert and there's actually a live band?
