I don't know how many Blink-182 fans we have on this site, but I love this band. They've recently reunited and it sounds as if they're gonna tour again.
Here's the message on their website:

http://www.blink182.com/

Quote:Hi. We're blink-182. This past week there've been a lot of questions about the current status of the band, and we wanted you to hear it straight from us. To put it simply, we're back. We mean, really back. Picking up where we left off and then some. In the studio writing and recording a new album. Preparing to tour the world yet again. Friendships reformed. 17 years deep in our legacy.

Summer 2009.

Thanks and get ready...

Well, I'm stoked! I was really dissapointed when the broke up and I'm definitely looking forward to the tour!

Match-up #20 - Twist My Arm Vs. No Threat
Listen to the two songs in the match-up Back to Back, and consider the lyrics of the song. Feel free to post an unbiased analysis of both songs in this thread, but please refrain from cheerleading or making predictions for your favourites.

Is there anywhere online where I can hear the We Are The Same CD as streaming audio? I know Amazon had the 30 second sound clips, but wanted to hear the entire CD online if possible? Thanks for your help.

Or CFNY for those who remember ...

Left the office and was delighted to hear Cordelia. Nice way to break into the weekend!

For those not lucky enough to tune Toronto area radio waves I believe 102.1 The Edge have a broadcast stream.

I haven't visited the forum in ages and with the new album just around the corner I was wondering if anyone knows where I can preview the new album before it comes out? I tried that torrent link but it didn't work. Anyone know where I can listen to the album?

I heard Morning Moon, Love is a First and another new one on 102.1 The Edge this afternoon but I didn't catch the name of it but it sounded the best out of the three, anyone know what song that was?

Can't wait until the theatre Monday night, someone help me out?

So, after some catastrophic iTunes f'ups I finally just restored the Chill Hip playlist I had been building up. The kind of playlist I would throw on the morning after a late night of boozing on a camping trip. Something to listen to while we trudge around the site picking up empties, cigarette butts, and half eaten bags of chips before getting a big greasy breakfast ready. Er maybe around 4pm at the cottage (that late afternoon lull).

This is what I have, but I would love to hear other peoples suggestions.

Escape Is At Hand For the Travelling Man
Scared
Impossibilium
Bobcaygeon
Emperer Penguin
Fiddlers Green
The Last of The Unplucked Gems
38 Years Old
When The Weight Comes Down
The Dire Wolf
Opiated
Pigeon Camera
We'll Go Too
The Dark Canuck
Stay
Thompson Girl
Long Time Running
Springtime in Vienna
Ahead By A Century.

Morning Moon will be added as well as Coffee Girl (just a guess...given that it isn't released yet Wink )

Stu

P.S. I did a search on "chill" to see if there were any similar posts. I didn't catch any, but there WAS a lot of "Chill out dude" type threads, lol.
