Ok...as we all know, the Hip have a history of not repeating songs on consecutive nights in the same town. However, this time with double sets, and up to 6 nights per town, that will be REALLY something. If you remember back to the Phoenix shows a few years back, there were some really cool tunes that I know I wasn't expecting (Tiger The Lion, etc)

Ideally, I'd love to see the boys make some kind of goal to play every song since Up To Hear (realistically, I doubt we'd see LP stuff) at some point during the tour. That said, what songs do you guys think we have absolutely no chance of hearing on the tour?

I'll start by suggesting Butts Wigglin and Apartment Song. Probably Thorwing off Glass too.

good day. hope everyone is feelin a little bit more at ease after that rough episode of a morning we had.

anywho...aside from the The Hip, I have a number of other favorite bands, one of them being the Dave Matthews Band. They recently started a spring tour and one or some of their fan forums organize and run this set list game every tour where anyone who wants to play picks 18 or so song or however many they think the band is going to play that night and for every song you guess correctly thats played you get 2 points. more importantly than just picking songs correctly, if you correctly guess in which order the songs are played you earn 6 total points per song then..standings are kept and so on
anyway without getting too in depth. i find its a fun way to follow the tour and even count down to the shows you may be attending. ive always wondered if something like that could ever fly around these parts. Is there any way we could ever organize a game like that here on the base? would any of you be interested in a game like that first of all?

just wondering because i seem to treat these two bands very simmilarly, they both have a good rotation of songs on a nightly basis. both fan bases are very passionate about their band. not only that, it serves as a fun way to count down to the shows you will be attending.

anyway lemme know what you think?

After 120 + shows my wife and I have established a bit of a tradion in picking the opener for each show. The World Container tour typically featured Lonely End of the Rink and Yer not the Ocean as set openers. IVL was mostly Silver Jet and Are You Ready etc... So in the spirit of stacking the odds in my favour I thought I would post the question to the Base. Any forecasts on openers for the WATS tour?

Anyone else sitting on the phone on hold with TM customer service regarding the presale gong show this morning? There have been some posts about people being on hold for upwards of an hour, and some people mentioning that names and numbers are taken with the possibility of a phone call later today from someone at TM. I just started on hold 5 minutes ago...anyone else sitting there on hold? Any other useful info to report? I was fortunate to get tickets, but had to use a visa from a person that wasn't planning to go (my wife).

Match-up #36 - Ahead By A Century Vs. Chagrin Falls
Listen to the two songs in the match-up Back to Back, and consider the lyrics of the song. Feel free to post an unbiased analysis of both songs in this thread, but please refrain from cheerleading or making predictions for your favourites.

My wife and I each tried to buy Music Hall tickets from work today. We each had a pair, and then when we processed, it said they were unsure if the order went through!!! The worst thing is, we are at work and can't check our home emails. Did this happen to anyone else??? Please tell me you got your tickets if it did!
