I forgot that I had this device and discovered recently while cleaning up.

It's as close to mint as can be - I just don't have the box. It was purchased to record interviews for journalism school. Used a handful of times with a F-V420 mic.


Comes with:

• Instruction manual
• Earbud-type headphones
• Power adapter
• 14 MiniDiscs
• Car kit with power adapter and cassette connection
• Charging stand
• Two leatherette carrying pouches

I will also include a basic concert mic - the SP-CMC-22. Mine is not the heavyweight cable version as pictured. The cable on mine is a thinner gauge.

The husband of a friend of mine is deep into all things Nirvana, and we were talking (well, online, but that counts, right?) and I said, "hey, I think they sort of opened for the Hip one time," and related the fuzzy details I read... somewhere (almost certainly some combination of old hipbase threads, hipmuseum, and Have Not Been the Same). Said fuzzy details were that O'Cayz Corral in Madison had double-booked the two bands, and so it was decided that Nirvana would play first and then the Hip would go on. Gord tried to talk to Kurt, but he was passed out on a pool table or something, and most of the audience left after Nirvana's set. At any rate, he then sent me a link to this:



Which isn't ground-breaking or anything, but it's interesting, and maybe indicates that it wasn't some kind of double-booking accident after all. Or at least that someone knew about it far enough in advance to get it in the paper.

Its alright... nothing special.
Incredibly strange. That comes with the territory of The Flaming Lips though
The vocals on money are stupid.

Canadian folk legend Gordon Lightfoot and The Tragically Hip's Gord Downie team up for a Feb. 4 show, titled If You Could Read My Mind, at the George Weston Recital Hall, Toronto Centre For The Arts.

The concert, which will see both Lightfoot and Downie in performance and conversation, is part of the Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame' new initmate six-part concert series.

The idea is to bring together great Canadian songwriters to explore the source of songwriting and the impact of songs on our culture.

Both the series and the concert will be hosted by CBC Radio's Laurie Brown, and will be broadcast by CBC Radio at a later date.

In addition, the first concert will feature emerging Canadian singer-songwriter Catherine MacLellan.
