Splurged one night to buy it from itunes Canada a year ago...

Should have been on In Between Evolution, or even maybe World Container...

Disappeared into near-obscurity...

Hush, another bonus track, reminded one somewhat of this other rare unplucked gem...

Then Gord and The Grand Bounce came along suddenly after us meeting The Hard Canadian with Lightfoot...

And lo and behold, NIGHT IS FOR GETTING appears 9-down on the roster...

And now we wonder how the Gord mix will differ from the Hip bonus track...

Does anyone anticipate any upcomming dates this year? I was looking at The Hip's main webpage and looked at the history of tours and it looks like this is going to be an "off summer" for the boys just because of the extensive tour of WATS? Any thoughts?

Other than the excitement 'The Grand Bounce', I gave WATS a full spin on vinyl today, and realized that it was just over a year ago it twas released.

IMO the album has gotten better with time. It first I felt like it was such different record and wasn't too impressed, but I think the sound is just the band coming of age. I really enjoy listening to tracks like Country Day, Coffee Girl, The Last Recluse and Morning Moon a lot more now. And songs like The Depression Suite and Queen of the Furrows still rip it up.

I think is better than some albums in the last decade (not M@W but...!) now that time has let it grow on me.

Lastly, I'm a big fan of the Warped 45's. Seen em a couple times now. Definitely worthy.

I tend to waste time now and then playing games on the comp, and while playing Everquest 2 I noticed an obvious Hip reference, I'm guessing one of the developers of the game is big fan.
