Hey all,

This is a major shot in the dark but here goes.... I won tickets from Sirius for a show at The Mod Club in Toronto this Friday 03/11 as part of CMW. The show is billed as The Sadies with a "special secret guest" and from my understanding, the secret guest is the headliner.

In order to win these tickets I had to name my favourite Canadian classic music act (I put Das Hip of course).

My question is, any chance this secret headliner could be Gord and the boys?

A group of us all bought tickets but I guess the VIP sold out, leaving one of us without a ticket. Has anyone bought the VIP ticket and wants to downgrade to a regular? Anybody selling one VIP ticket?

So I woke up this morning and decided to throw in the Video Kills portion of Hipeponymous. The Hip have some pretty damn good music videos if you ask me. This has probably been done a hundred times on this board but I figured I'd make the latest thread of your favourite Hip videos. Since the top 5 albums have been done probably just as much, if not more.... what are your top 5 Hip videos?

The Darkest One - I'm a huge Trailer Park Boys fan and its just that much better with Don Cherry in there too.
Bobcaygeon - You just gotta love this one.
Music @ Work - Could easily be number one but I find myself placing it third.
Courage - I love how its the typical 90's video of them just playing in a raw setting. Gord's Bruins sweater makes it awesome.
It's A Good Life If You Don't Weaken - Just plain creepy if you ask me.

I think it sounds fantastic.

While organizing and running a charity golf tournament in honour of my brother, who passed away due to complications of hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, two and a half years ago at the age of 18, my family was fortunate enough to meet a man who had lost his daughter at age 16 under similar circumstances. Ken (the father) was very supportive of my families charitable efforts and has helped us to raise over $40,000 for research in sudden arrhythmia death syndrome. He is holding a memorial benefit concert in honour of his daughter Taylor in Kingston on March 19th. There's going to be over 12 hours of local Kingston music (including 'Road Apples') and tonnes of amazing prizes to be auctioned/raffled off (I know there will be several Taylor Hall autographed memorabilia) all for only $10. Just curious if there are any Voltaheads on the board. I just heard they will be playing Summersonic in Japan later this year so that combined with the new album hopefully means some NA dates.

Is the presale password being e-mailed tomorrow morning or something? I'm getting antsy because I thought we'd have it by now.
