Anybody have any info on the set up for this show? I have VIP tickets and VIP parking. We usually just go G.A. but figured we would give the VIP a try. After last years shows and the VIP issues with regards to people feeling ripped off, my question to anybody who would be in the know is "have they changed any vip issues that were brought up?"

Forgive me, this has probably been discussed ad nauseum in the past but I wasn't able to find much by searching.
Is there a list of Hip tunes somewhere on the net that includes the last time they were played live? I'd love to know which song has gone the longest without appearing in a show. Also curious to know which tunes the boys have shelved over the years. I know 38 Years Old and Fiddler's Green have made fairly recent comebacks. I also know we're not likely to hear anything from the EP any time soon.
Anyone know of such a record?
What do you think about the selection of songs on "Yer Favorites", their "Best of" collection from their first 10 studio albums? Are their songs you thought should have made the cut? Ones that shouldn't have?
Firstly I would not have included the two new tracks, "No Threat" and "The New Maybe". These are both good songs, however they are far from "favourites." It doesn't make sense to me to put new songs on a hits album at all. ...Should have saved them for a B-sides collection or something.
I would also have removed is "Escape Is at Hand for the Travellin' Man" and "Highway Girl". Again, good songs, but not worthy to be on the collection in my opinion.
With those 4 songs removed, I would have added these 4: "Small Town Bringdown", "Last American Exit", "I'll Believe In You" and "Vapour Trails". So there are only 4 songs I'd remove and 4 I'd add in their place. Not bad really for 37 songs!
My one other issue with the collections goes back to "No Threat". I've already said that I didn't think it should have been included, but to me the even bigger issue is that it's the opening track. I would have started the collection differently with "Gift Shop" as track one, and then perhaps made the second track "Looking For A Place To Happen" to give the collection a more solid beginning.
So you heard the singles, those tunes from the radio and decided to check the band out a little more...
I'm guessing everyone has that moment with a favourite band where they start to dig a little deeper, get past the radio-friendly tunes and into the album cuts and then it hits them... this band is for me
i'll kick it off with perhaps what might go down as a unique choice but it's the song that forever has me in debt. You might laugh but it's true...
Apartment Song
Crazy, I know.. I don't rank it among their best but when I heard it late that night, in that perfect mood, it clicked and thus began an incredible journey of discovery... so what was it for you?
Paul Langlois and Greg Ball will be performing tonight at 3030 DundasWest for the "NOTNXE Festival"

Has anybody else had this problem lately? Whereas when I used to click on 'view new posts' it would only show me the posts I haven't seen since I last logged in, now it's showing me all of the new posts (whether I've seen them or not) over the last several weeks. Mods? Admin? Someone else that I haven't thought of? Thanks!
A 38 min jam had been posted on neils site in january.., i got to listen to it once..sadly it seems they have taken it down... has anyone listened to this recently from another source?... man did it kick ass
