So I just found my Red+White Hip jersey that I bought at the 1999 New Year's Eve show in Toronto. It is has number 00 on each of the arms, which I guess makes it a rare version that you could probably only buy at the show (guessing here). Just wondering if anyone else has this and has any idea what they are worth?

I have to admit that even though I saw 4 shows for the World Container tour, I did not enjoy much of the album at all. So after a few years of sitting at the bottom of the pile and not even getting a customary listen to even once a year. I finally put it on my iphone and listened to it last night on the head phones, yea sure Ive listened to it in the van and my fav song is Fly, but last night I listened to each song loud on the headphones. Wholly shit it is way better then I could have ever known. If anybody else is in the same boat and dont enjoy a particular Hip CD, I suggest giving it the good quality headphones treatment. It was a game changer for WC for me. This album will now move up in my roatation for sure and no longer be treated like the red headed stepchild. P.S. Family Band will probably move into my top 30 songs by the Hip. The key was HEADPHONES and no distractions to actually enjoy it.

Last night was the 15-year anniversary of the last-ever Another Roadside Attraction performance, which took place in Barrie, ONT. I was there; biggest TTH show I've ever been to. Just thought I'd give a shout-out to the old-timers on this board. Haven't been here in a very, very long time.

P.S. I saw My Morning Jacket live in Salt Lake City last night for FIVE BUCKS. Dollar-for-dollar, the best concert I've ever been to. I've been to better shows, but spent 10 times (or more) for tickets. If they come to your town, SEE THEM. Mindblowing live act.

per Paul's FB page:

Paul will be headlining KingstonFest a free (all ages) music festival on August 17 in market square. Opening acts Chris Koster and Greg Ball kick things off at 7:30. Stop by if you are around - it should be a fun night!

Hi all

Just wanted to share that I saw Sam Roberts Band in Penticton, BC last night July 28 at the Rock the Peach festival and he put on a fabulous show. 3 days, 16 bands

Its great to look back on when he was opening for The Hip and got to see him 3 or 4 times then and now to see how he has continued to get better and better.

Hopefully the festival will go again next year as a great time was had by all and he expressed desire to come to our beautiful city again.

Collective Soul on Friday also put on a fantastic show.

Gettin ready for day 3

Cheers and cant wait for the new Hip cd and tour!

Site seems to be down.
Just thought I would mention it since I never mentioned until too late that thehundredthmeridian.com site was down, and now that one has interesting issues.

A friend of mine who only knows Yer Favourites (and knows it cover to cover) asked me to make him a compilation of my favourites not on YF. Here's what the final track list looks like:

01 - Tiger The Lion
02 - Chagrin Falls
03 - Pigeon Camera
04 - Springtime In Vienna
05 - Sherpa
06 - Daredevil
07 - The Drop-Off
08 - Thugs
09 - Opiated
10 - I'll Believe In You (Or I'll Be Leaving You Tonight)
11 - Use It Up
12 - Fight
13 - Are We Family
14 - Summer's Killing Us
15 - Vapour Trails
16 - The Depression Suite
17 - Emperor Penguin

What do you think? What would yours be?

(I realize they're are omissions that I would have loved to have been able to fit on here... I guess Greasy Jungle, The Kids Don't Get It, and Eldorado will have to wait for volume two...)
