Just curious, in the "Who's Online" section at the bottom of the forums it reads:
"Most users ever online was 1283 on Sat Feb 03, 2007 8:14 pm".
What was going on that winter Staurday in 2007?

Just found this posted on Dime by fuzzpsych: http://www.dimeadozen.org/torrents-detai...?id=418301

Quote:Well, I'm finally getting around to digitizing my 700+ cassettes (at my wife's insistence--she wants them out of the house), so I'm going to start posting some goodies here. I taped many a show in the Toronto area from the late '80's to the late '90's, and also recorded a lot of radio broadcasts, mostly from CFNY, 102.1 in Toronto and the CBC. Hope you stumble across something you like, or even a show you were at!

addendum: I have had many comments about the fate of my tapes, so for those worried about them...the masters I am boxing up and storing in my parents' basement. The others (mixed tapes, recorded LP's, etc) are getting tossed. My wife is not evil or insensitive--we live in a small place, and the many boxes were getting in the way. This is something I'VE wanted to do for awhile, as well. She just gave me the push. Oh, and she doesn't have shelves of makeup, or hundreds of shoes, no matter what stereotypes you care to buy in to. Her comic collection, however....

Honestly, I like the album version better than the live versions I've heard. Has anyone made an attempt at the lyrics yet?

Hey gang. I know there are a few DBT fans in here, and I just came across this link on their Facebook page. It's a bootleg of their Aug. 23rd Athens, Georgia show. It's an audience boot, but the sound quality is excellent. Enjoy:

Just curious to see what everyone thinks. Considering more people are now discussing the cover over the content LOL.

I have a feeling PP will win, but we'll see. I didn't add Yer Favs/Hipepon since it's more of a comp.

feel free to add your LEAST favorite below!

Logged on to the website today to try and update my concert stats with the show from Niagara On The Lake last month and can't seem to figure out how to do so. Any insight as to whether or not this is something they are still doing on the site? Usually you just go to past shows and click "I was there" but I don't see any of the 2012 shows as options.

Hey all I was thinking on my drive today to start a debate of the top 10 hip shows of all time

I have seen over 30+ shows and Have listened to over 100 + shows in the old XL2

Here is my rhyme and reason

1) ARA 93 Markahm Fairgrounds Both Nights Combined
- Introduction of natuical and thugs
- The day that they went from being a bar band to rock stars
- Insane 100th with a gun free Japan
- Jammed out Camera with the jumper
- Most of Heksenketle is from there
- and oh yeh Get Back Again !

2) Maple Leaf Gardens 95 First show ever at MLG
- This is when they became the arena rock band
- 50 mission cap performed in that building with #5 above shaking
- Great NOIS and ahead by a century tease
- Overall great sounding show and they played unreal that show
