Hey everyone,
I'd like to put a couple original pressings of Up To Here and Road Apples up for sale:
#1. Road Apples (original Canadian Sterling pressing, CMCA-10173, rainbow MCA label)
Price: $100
Cover: EX- ... A few very minor spine bends, the start of an upper seam split, light wear around the edge of the cover, very light ringwear, otherwise in good shape with sharp corners.
Vinyl: EX ... Extremely clean with very light paper scuffs, except for a symmetrical stripe of what looks like brown paper residue on the lead-out of both sides that adds noise to the lead-out. The music is not affected in any way.
#2. Up To Here (original USA Precision pressing, MCA-6310, rainbow MCA label)
Price: $70
Cover: NM- ... Original shrinkwrap still attached with blue hype sticker on the front shrinkwrap. Very minor corner wear, fantastic shape otherwise. Blue pricing sticker on the back shrinkwrap.
Vinyl: NM ... Beautiful and unplayed shape, only a couple miniscule hairline paper scuffs.
Post in this thread or send me a PM if you are interested, and we'll go from there. Cheers! :music
Hey everyone,
I'd like to throw this out there and see what happens. I have a 7" Cordelia single that I would like to offer up for trade for a 7" New Orleans is Sinking single. This Cordelia single contains an awesome live version of Twist My Arm on the B-side. My grading below is conservative.
Sleeve: VG with a few corner bends and heavy lower-right corner wear. A small bit of residue in the upper right corner from a sticker that was removed. No seam splits.
Vinyl: VG+ with lots of small scratches, but plays well.
If anyone is looking to fill a hole in their collection with a trade, feel free to get in touch! :thumb:
...but I've lost my love for The Hip.
All kinds of promise of b-sides, re-issues, etc - and then nothing.
And Gord's live "singing"... Ugh. I'm done with it.
The Trews
#setlist #Kingston. Encored with Stay w/me, 38 yrs old, Misery, Come On Baby and Ooh La La feat. Gord Sinclair and Paul Langois

I was having dinner tonight at a restaurant called The Gilded Iguana in Nosara, Costa Rica when Pigeon Camera came on the mix. I immediately asked our waiter if anyone from Canada worked there and he said the owner was originally from Canada.
OK.
After my last rant about charging way too much for their crap for years, and years.
I have to point out there is a sale going on.
Petty nice Actually
Thank You to The Hip. Finally after many, many years.
They have T-shirts from $5
They are FINALLY offering shirts on sale - 40 different shirts all under $25.
$5, $10, $15, $20 and $25
The Maple Music shipping charges are still a joke, but this is finally good news on the merchandise front.
Even the awesome shirt I bought last week that feels cheap like paper. I bought it for $30 and it is only $25 in the Giftshop.
Thank You - and now bring on some more merch - even older stuff that is laying around. They brought a bunch of old LP's, shirts and other merch out of storage a couple of years ago - let's try that again also!
Hello everyone
Does anyone have any idea if it would possible to get back stage passes to a show? Does the band ever let that happen? My wife turns 40 this year and she (and I) love the band. We have seen dozens of shows over the years and 3 this year alone. My wife might love Gord Downy more than me and she would love to meet the band. Any ideas?? I know its a long shot but I thought I would ask.
Thanks
